VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Brenda endured the unthinkable when her first tiny home crashed during transport. The house landed on its side with most of the interior demolished. She salvaged a few good pieces and put them in her current 24ft home she calls ”2.0”. She’s been at Tiny Tranquility in Oregon for three years and loves it!
The unique interior is decorated with local artwork and objects she’s collected over time. Brenda doesn’t claim to be a minimalist and has all her personal items on display, with nothing hiding in drawers or bins. There’s ample storage in the spiral staircase that leads up to her sleeping loft and a small kitchen that holds everything she needs. Outside her burgundy tiny home, there’s a massive porch perfect for hosting guests and lounging on beautiful days!

I seem to remember seeing her in 1.0. Too bad about the crash! But this lady is a real trooper - just keeping on keeping on! This is a comfy cozy tiny house with spaces to do what she loves. What I especially love about tinies is how each owner designs their space to work for them and every one is different. I loved that she acknowledged her neighbours in Tiny Tranquility for their creation of community, as well as the man who developed that community. Nice!

It's nice to see other views and angles of this beautiful house. I saw another video tour that I've watched several times but found myself wanting to see more. It's such a great design, and Brenda managed to fit so much into such a small space. I am also a crafter (and also not a minimalist; that is not my goal either) who is trying to downsize in order to live tiny but still have room to create stuff. I found what she said about the downsizing process particularly interesting and helpful. Thank you, Brenda, for sharing your home and your thoughts with us. I like it when I find a tour of a barren Tiny Home that’s been transformed into a warm beautifully treasure appointed home that hugs you! Brenda… I remember your first home and road the wave when you built 2.0, its fabulous replacement! Your builder was terrific to salvage so much of the original! I’ve created my Tiny House out Legos to play with the floor plan and make it my own. Time is coming closer to getting it built and I’m getting antsy to get going!! such a shame your first tiny home was wrecked on the highway - but you picked up the pieces (no pun intended there) and carried on with life! Such a lovely build and love the fact you display and don't put away your things. They are there to enjoy! The first time I watched a video Tranquility Tiny Homes I seen Beth's tiny home. (who knows, she may be your neighbor?) You definitely chose a "tranquil" tiny home park to be in. I'm sure life will be exhilarating surrounded by all that nature and that ocean!!!

Ahh you may have lost the 1st one and felt awful and what have I done to deserve this. Well the universe felt you deserved a hike just a little bit bigger to fit your needs. It's a beautiful home. I bet your micro home is just as lux to. Enjoy and have fun. You deserve it after having such a difficult time with loss and helping your mom. Now making new friends to into if having a great home . Litter box love the clever idea.. again love your home and enjoy life now. Stop and take in the beauty of nature. From a wicked thunderstorm to the mountain and valleys and cute little towns. Enjoy your retirement. You truly deserve happiness and stability.. personally I feel all people deserve a home and stability in that home. Actually, I thought it was going to be the standard 8' 5' wide like my original but I mistakenly signed off on a design for 8' wide. This is why my tiny has little open space & looks so skinny. My bad. 🥲 2.0 is 24' x 8' x 13.5'.
