Stephen had really inventive chord voicings and made his craft look totally effortless. Audun was so good to watch and played great, complimentary basslines. What a dynamite duo they were. RIP dudes.

their music helped me through one of the hardest points in my life in 2017. i'll never forget when i looked them up mid 2019 because i realized i hadn't heard anything new for a while and seeing the articles ... I can't listen to them without crying. that night two beautiful talented men were taken from this world. why it's always the ones who bring light to this world that these things happen to, i will never know or understand. but i thank God we got to know them for any amount of time because they did shine bright in our lives for some time and their music will never leave us, even if it stings a little bit. rest in peace

I don't get this, how I never heard of these guys until this awful tragedy, they're brilliant! Really sad these guys are gone, so much fun and energy and so down to earth still...refreshing, such a shame. R.I.P guys, where ever you are will be a better place with you in it.

i just realised i saw them live @ Tramlines festival in Sheffield, in a pub called Bungalows & Bears in 2017. I was standing right at the front, honestly i've only just realised it was these guys! I feel so sad
Just found out about this band through suggestions on a music streaming service. Now I come on this service and find out that these guys tragically passed away. I have known about them for all of 4 hours and I cannot help but feel a knot in my stomach and throat finding out that they are no longer with us. Their music will carry them on and I will make sure to show their music to anyone who is willing to listen. smh.

The connection these two had with each other is incomparable. From 9:00 to 10:00 there's this utterly pure musical energy.... Not the slightest bit of hesitation or awkwardness. We live in a cruel and uncertain world. RIP you legends.
Stephen really kills it on guitar. Not to mentions his voice. His chords and strumming patterns alone are amazing, but he still managed to add so much in between. Never overdoing it. You could be tricked into thinking there is another guitar player at certain points. Super inspiring to see a 2 man band sound so full. It’s absolutely devastating we’ll never get to see what other music they had in them. I feel like they would have just kept on creating and perfecting their sound. Anyone who discovers them and enjoys their sound will inevitably find out what happened and will likely feel the same. That’s exactly what happened to me. It’s so fucking heartbreaking. It sucks.
yeah for the first few bits when i originally started listening i actually thought that for some of there songs they had another guitarist, all because of how talented he was
I am a truck Driver from Arizona, I was traveling interstate 10 when your friends and loved ones passed me and a few seconds later the collision with a truck with no headlights, myself and another driver emptied our fire extinguishers but to no avail, wished we could have done more, as i sat at the scene I prayed for those souls I didn’t know, and I’m sure it was over for them as fast has it happened, I thought of their families and their grief that would be upon them, we were their to watch over them until they were free from there last earthly hold, as I sat for those 3 1/2 hours waiting for the road to open, a wave of softness came upon me and I felt a youthful presents that made me smile and cry, on the 16th of March our niece who was 18 was killed by a drunk driver who ran a red light, I cried again for Maddy, and felt her presents now even stronger. Friday morning I learned their names and a little of who they were, when I saw their ages it took me back to that night and the strong presents I felt and I knew it was those young men and Maddy was their to help them on their way, as I prayed for their souls that soured up above. Their gift of music left here with us all, has helped soothe the pain which I know will always remain, I grieve for Maddy, Trevor, Stephan and Audun at such a young age makes it so much harder. I’ve prayed for the Parents, for a loss no parent should bare. I think how proud their parents must have been, and of course still are. I think of our son who is in the theater and arts, and to see his amazing talent light up the stage makes my heart soar, then I think of those parents who are left with only their memories, and my heart aches for them. To Trevor’s wife I’m so sorry for your loss, and a special prayer to his children for the loss of their father, a pain I know to well, loosing my father at a young age myself. Thankful I am to be able to put faces and names to the souls I met that night, as it helps wash away the sights from that night. I put on their videos and close my eyes and feel their heart and soul that comes out through their voices with musical harmony that could only come from family and angels on high. I understand Trevor was a musician as well, I would love to hear his voice and works as well. I know your pain and how things will never be same, I hope my words help a little, I just wanted you all to know that they where not all alone. I will be putting up a memorial at that sacred place I pass everyday and I do say hello to the souls I met that night, I would like to get a close up of Trevor, Stephan, and Audun’s face, possibly an artist I know does etching, so either in stone, tiles, or marble, if you know anyone that has a picture I will get this done for them. My very deepest condolences to their families and friends, I just wish we could have done more. The Liverpool duo Her’s, made up of Stephen Fitzpatrick, 24, and Audun Laading, 25, died along with tour manager Trevor Engelbrektson, 37. So sad youth stolen away by 2 selfish disgusting individuals.

I only discovered them yesterday because of an article about their tragic death. For me they had a magic I cannot describe. I got a digital CD of theirs and will be getting their debut album. They had such chemistry and talent. The energy they emanated only tells me how much their families, friends, and friends are grieving their loss. Thank goodness we have all of these videos of them. I wish I could have seen them perform live. And yes, I barely knew but shed tears. RIP sweet angels.

I’m still so broken about these guys, I spoke with them briefly on Instagram about coming to Vancouver and about getting some of their merch and was so sad I never got to meet them or see them play, amazing dudes, so talented, and gone far too soon
