I was actually surprised when Hera's orignal accent slipped out when she was arguing with her father. Love the accent.

I freaking love the twi'leks. Quite a bit of their history and mannerisms mirror that of the French, especially post ww2. I also love that Hera's accent comes back when she either gets passionate or is talking to another twi'lek with the accent. It reminds me of my mom and her jamaican accent

Had to come here while watching the episode to comment on how brilliant it is that her accent reverts back to her native one, because that's exactly what happens when you argue. You forget to use an accent and you will sound very native. That's so well done.

Cham is actually lucky that he did not liberate Ryloth before the Empire's downfall. If he did, there would be another Great Purge of Mandalore. And Ryloth is not some little planet like Lothal to be forgotten and discarded when there are more pressing matters. Certainly the Empire would make an example of Ryloth as well. And without allies to help because of Cham's attitude, his people would be alone, broken and doomed, facing even more prejudice and bullying across the galaxy.

When you look at their architecture and accents I've always thought the Twileks were representative of North African countries like Algeria in their struggle against the Empire (France)

I was hoping I wasn't the only one who noticed Hera's accent changed when she was arguing with her father.

Cham deserved what he got with the empire . He should have sided with the separatists and then his planet would have been truly free.

This does fit rightly because hera and her dad are astranged relationships. Cham may be a liberator but he cares for family and ryloth. I have some respect to him.
