I think Daut's style works well with these matchups. Low-elo players can basically match you while they are carrying out their build orders, but once the build is done and the game gets dynamic, the skill difference becomes really obvious. Daut choosing to boom up patiently and kill everyone all at once instead of trying to stall his side in feudal allowed that skill difference to shine. Late-castle and imperial ages are just too damn hard for us nooblets.
Its funny, I actually find if I survive to castle without damage I win nearly every game. Its the reason I never play arabia because people have got their builds down so perfectly for the first ~25 vills on that map far more than any other besides arena. Damage early is far better for them than damage later. If people banned arena and arabia for a few map rotations they'd become infinitely better players. Fringe maps require you to actually understand why you're doing something instead of blindly following the same opening for 50 games a month and panicking after. People who only play TG's on arena/BF are the opposite. They just want a NR 20/30 and cant handle tower pressure or some other method of getting through early. I'm not knocking people who play for fun. But if people are wanting to get better, playing the same maps over and over again - especially maps that are so methodical like arabia and arena really narrows opportunities to learn about the game. In theory the early game (pre castle) is the easiest part because of the lack of options. So if you get more experience with maps that go late you get to understand transitions, timings and get experience with things low elo players never use (mangos, monks). prioritize
It's just Oasis, that's why they won. Also, I keep saying this but I don't understand why the approach of these players isn't just to 3x tower rush one guy. What is Hera going to do against towers being placed 3 by 3 ? All full Feudal, towers and archers, and it's gg.
@@EugeneOneguine Finally someone saying the obvious. Oasis map is far easier because they were placed back to back and beginner players are really bad at coordinating strong pushes. Tower rush is the best option imo too because it's the easiest thing to set up as a beginner. I think CA to early IMP is the sweet spot where pros will reach maximum potential to win. On the other hand late IMP it becomes impossible to win for them simply because of pop cap, but again Oasis helps tremendously.
@@brohvakiindova4452 Maybe people don't want to "cheese" with a tower rush, as they paid for the game, so they might want to get the real pro experience. That's totally understandable. But yeah, realistically, no pro would ever win a 1v3 against average players if they all went trush. Oasis and their composition was perfect for that indeed. I remember a game I played on Arena were I was able to push back THREE players (same level as me) with the Teutons deathball halbs+bbc+onager. I was facing Mangudais, War Eles, Malians Champs, and they couldn't do anything in a clutch push against my Teutons deathball because I out-massed their BBCs. So, Bohemians was definitely the play here.
@@EugeneOneguineIf you all go full tower rush on hera. Your trying to beat Hera in a scenario where he can utilize his superior micro (vil fighting garrison hopping, quick walling). To then try and beat an untouched boomed Daut while your team is still scrambling for Castle age. That sounds like exactly the situation I would NOT want to be in. (NVM it's 6 on 2 you are totally right, I was thinking 2 vs 3 for some reason)
Dauts kills were insane 400 each means he killed 1.8 to 1 of Hera's and still only lost 70 extra army even though he was fighting the stronger players. Crazy.
These are really fun to watch! Like clenching my ass the whole time in excitement kinda fun :D since viper lost the last one, I'm looking forward to this!
now this is what im talking about, 2v4 victory! this was very fun to watch god damn im hooked on this channel these days and hera is funny like says jokes about viper all the time haha Hera/Daut confirmed
The opponents picked oasis? That seems like a mistake. If the 'pro's' need to move around they are easier to raid. Also it limits the amount of angles to attack and that the pro's need to focus on. I strongly believe the only tactic against the pro's can be to overwhelm them either in numbers or APM/fires to put out.
Pretty sure this is more for fun than to beat up the other team, I don't think the guys wanting to play any map can be considered a "mistake" because ultimately they are playing for fun and if they just wanna play oasis then that's cool, no mistake there
A nice video so I hate to say this but ... the 6 "beginners" played very poorly. I think Hera may have lost 2 or 3 bombard cannons the whole game. And they were streaming 10 and 15 units at a time in Imperial Age. Have they ever played a game in Imperial Age before where less than 50 units is a feather?
Hera & Viber is like Hera vs 5.5 mean while viper failed his 1 vs 0.5 Hera & THE LORD is like Hera vs 2 mean while DauT - praised his holy name - stumped 4 The level difference is so obvious #TeamDauT
@@HeraAgeofEmpires2 yes but I expect at least 3 armies attacking one of you AT ONCE, and... what we saw? A few purple scouts dying CONSTANTLY against halbs and bunch of scorps against bombard cannons??? These guys need to learn the basics at least, it is ok to lose but doing the EXACT opposite of what they should is just astounding, 700 elos performance right there.
@@viktorianas It's a strategy issue. If they push together, big chance that pro will struggle in early/mid castle age. If everyone play own game, big chance that pro kill them 1 by 1.
Cmon Hera. I follow you for a long time and like your videos but this is not the one of them. Every 1.4k player can beat this team. Up your opponent level please. For example you can play vs 1.4k level players with Daut. You're Pro and Number one. You should choose your opponent higher level. Not Beginners.
How about you actually watch his other videos where his opponents steam roll him...he lost with viper and lost several 3v1/4v1s...and like he said, these are community challenges that people pay to play him, not the other way around.
Seems you didnt watch previous videos. 400 ve 1200 population difference is huge. This is the first victory of hera actually (1v3 and 2v6 matchups). So basically, you cant say that
