"Wildest Matches" is an unreleased UWF commercial tape from 1992. It was, however, broadcast on ESPN Classics Canada. This is from that broadcast. Keep the UWF alive!
That match with Wild Thing Stevie Ray was wrestings most amazing work fooling even all the wrestlers and wrestling media! The Wild Thing was the complete mastermind behind it all! Except when Herb got involved however, and that is what got the Wild Thing Stevie Ray ranked the 6th most popular wrestler in the World! Wet and Wild is my favorite tag team too!
Dr. Death Hit the wrestler with a chair and he bleeds and falls, but he hit the ref and ref with a chair and the ref takes 5 more chair shots before fallin🤔🤔
@@spectrumlocalb191 fuck you dude, its a legit question. No sell a wrestlers offense and you get your ass kicked. Pro wrestling 101, jerkoff... To answer the question, I'd say the ref was an untrianed kid working for free. Im sure he was as green as grass and didn't know any better.
I really hate to sound like that guy but this federation could have lasted longer if the owner didn't try too fast to get everything going. Course he was also a cocaine addict so that can hurt things too.
@@SB-jn8cw it's really cool to check out the steroid-free era from the '90s, and see how some of these guys looked. Said look like he was very clean by the end of his 1995 run. Came back bigger than ever, coinciding with the end of that initial drug testing program.
@@jh6025 to be fair, I really have no issues with older guys like Paul going back on the sauce later in their careers. As it helps with quality of life and can help them extend their career
I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BUT HERB ABRAMS AS THE OWNER OF THE UWF WAS GETTING INVOLVED IN THE MATCHES LONG BEFORE VINCE MCMAHON DID AND NOW I BELIEVE MCMAHON PROBABLY GOT THE IDEA TO GET INVOLVED IN MATCHES IN THE WWF FROM HERB ABRAMS. THE DARK SIDE OF THE RING NEVER TOUCHED ON THIS IN THERE SHOW.
....herb wasn’t the first bad guy promoter. Memphis did it in the early 80s, I believe. Herb was just the first guy dumb enough to be the focus of the heat. Even McMahon used lackeys. Herb just did a line, stepped in the ring, and decided he wanted the fame.
Promoters have been getting involved in the matches for a long time. In Mid-South (before it was UWF not this UWF), Bill Watts (promoter) came out of retirement to team up with stagger lee to face The Midnight Express.
28:47 This Sonny Beach is awful. Orton has to literally kick him in the back of the head to get the slingshot because this dope is just standing on his head not moving. 32:52 then he just dead weights Orton here.
