Oh man - he’s my favorite . He was always moving to the beat - one could cut the sound and tell what’s up by just watching him . His inspiration to other guitarist is incalculable. God Bless .

Wild performance. I love at the end there how the band are just so focused on keeping that groove, but Herbie in his solo keeps throwing rhythmic bombs and trying to steer them in another direction. Creates an amazing slow burning tension, finally release when Herbie joins in with the groove at the end.

What FANTASTICALLY gorgeous, TIGHT arrangement. HERBIE'S not only on form -- OK, when ISN'T he? -- but his solo accompaniment with Cunelu is indescribably OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Quite hard to look past that horrendous DX7 “rhodes” sound. Thank god it was passing phase. But yeah, I also sold my Rhodes back then and went all DX7 (+TX7 x2).🤷🏼‍♂️😄
