I really like the Hercules line i bought the 3/8 on a deal with free 5 amp batteries and I am very impressed with it it came out to 36.99 for the battery and tool each I'm impressed so far
My gen 1 broke after trying to use it on a puller I had on a rusty drum brake. Luckily it's being phased out so they let me warranty a gen 2 today. Pretty sweet. Glad the gen 2 has auto mode to prevent over tightening. Hope that saves me next time haha
I just bought this impact and got the 5ah it sucks they made it weaker you would think they made it stronger for the price increase but I understand it’s most likely for the 5 year warranty. I hope they make a stronger one that’s in between this and the high torque that would be nice
You’ve got to be slow. I bought the 5ah battery, charger. Got the 1/2 compact impact for free and it takes everything off. I mostly use it on tractor tire lugs and it rips everything off
@@toadstrangler7052 oddly I tried 2 different ones (different stores) in case I got a lemon and my 1/2 inpact wrench (with 5A battery deal) can't take any of my car 120lb/# lug nut. returned them both. the 1/4"by comparaison seems really strong and rated top on TTC channel - that's a keeper.
@@alaind831for 1/2 inch the ultra torque is probably the only one worth getting, but the 3/8 is good for the size and price. the 2ah and 5ah batteries use 18650 cells and aren't advertised as extreme performance, unlike the 4ah, 8 and 12ah batteries that use 21700 cells and advertised as extreme performance
I wonder if all of that grease is slowing it down… maybe will speed up when it melts in… mine will hardly take off lug nuts but I haven’t used it much .. thanks for the video

Impact driver. It’s not a drill. In fact, an actual drill blows impact drivers out of the water on actual drill stuff. Learn to use your tools correctly and stop cheating out trying to do everything with one tool.
