Herd Health - Donkey Grooming and Hoof Care 

Check out the video to see just a few of our donkeys getting their grooming & hoof care from Herd Health Care Staff Nikki & Chandra. We use different methods to wrap hoofs depending on the issue the donkey is experiencing. Here you will see an IV bag tied around the hoof for a long soak; hoofs wrapped in duct tape to keep moisture in and dust out, and you will also see Kiki getting a topical application of iodine around the interior of the hoof to sterilize it after cleaning.
