I have friends and family asking me to repot their plants because they are afraid they mess up and don't want to do it. It they were rich people they for sure would use this service 😋
Alternate plan, leave the pot on the ground in a corner and forget completely about them. Finally check on them 3 years later and discover that the pot is totally shattered and it's just a mound of babies surrounding a massive mother, with little decorative pieces of terracotta poking out.
I’m sure they kept it dry because they wanted to make it easier to repot Also sometimes one plant hogs the water from the others, but I could be wrong in this case
The mic clipped onto the shovel 🤣 Repotting and repotting babies from big mama plants is my personal love language. I know a lot aren't confident, don't know how or don't want to do that themselves, but there's truly something therapeutic about spending time with my plants.
Those grow wild where I live.if you don't contain them they will completely take over! There are 2 different varieties one blooms yellow the other orange. People here, AZ, say the yellow is more medicinal.
@@elsiebert2273 They supposedly have stronger concentrations of anthraquinones & chromones compounds that are anti-inflammatory and glucomannan which is regenerative.
It helps to shear the roots with a sharp scalpel or kitchen shears. The current root system has signaled “contact inhibition” with the previous pot’s walls….gently shearing roots will awaken growth hormones to the new larger pot
My mom has been gone for 6 years. She had this enormous Christmas cactus that needed to be replanted when she got sick. Now, 10 years later, it is still in the same pot. I'm afraid of killing it when I replant it. Losing it would be like losing another piece if her. Can you help? How do I do this. How much larger should the pot be? Will a Christmas cactus survive its roots being teased out? Should I use some kind of transplant juice to keep it from shock? I just don't know what to do so I gave done nothing.😢
With the time it takes to drive your plant to and from a place like this you could have already done everything yourself and had time to make a mimosa!
@@goober112 yes, in my experience people appreciate it! (Of course it depends, but you know your circle :)) every time I forget to buy a gift or more likely feel like it's not enough, guess what? you get a bonus plant!🥳 already made three ,,I don't know how to take care of plants"-people into plant people and they even bought themselves more plants after getting their first gift aloes from me😂 So if you know the person wouldn't feel burdened by it, go for it! :)
We have Aloe Vera in our backyard from a neighbor she have me a couple 5 years ago. I never cared for them just threw it in the ground. And water it once in a while. It grows like crazy very invasive plant. I do love Succulent just not Aloe Vera I have collection of Succulents( the very cool strange looking ones those I care for them. I pulled bunch of Aloe and threw them away but It keeps growing. We live in Phx so they thrive here even winter time. It will never die lol here.
You can use the Gel (inside the fillets) (Aloe Leaf), and make Aloe Water, which will use more of the plant than just using topically - sunburn, burns, bites and stings. Use the Largest fillets, split them along a side, then use a medium spoon to scrape the gel. Mix about 1/2 cup into a gallon of water. Let it sit for 24 hours in your fridge, and drink about 8 Oz. a day. Good for antioxidants , Skin health, joint pain, etc.
All I could hear after he said "loosen up the soil" was..... I'm telling you loosen up my soil baby But you keep fronting. Saying what you going do to me, But I ain't seen nothing!
What kind of bougie ass rich neighborhood did you luck into having a plant store at, people just bringing their aloe vera and say “sigh, I can’t believe they outlawed family planting in my state, please just fix it. “
Do I really need cactus/succulent soil? I have an aloe vera that’s probably five or six years old. I’ve broken it up a few times already and every time I do, I just put it in regular potting soul and if it does really well.
Okay so I first video right? I was expecting him to let go of the leaves and for it to just floosh and just prettily fall that did not happen. I was stunned I was like what and then I could see why but like for half second I was questioning my whole life
By the time you drive the plant to the store and go back to pick it up you could do this yourself... there are a billion people who cant afford to live in clean mud... and we have people paying for this... do they ever make annoying complaints?
So what is that you used? It doesn't look like dirt. I could understand you. Is it the same how you would repot cactus? How often do you water/ feed cacti and aloe? Thanks so much.
Wait, this is what you do for a living? People pay for someone to do this? Good for you bud that is insane. Tell me how I get into something like this please.
I'm a new plant mommy I have 6 snake plants and 2 algeonoma pink stars and I just reported those two and they don't look like they are doing well and idk what to do! Help!!!!
Like where do you even go to hire somebody to do this because I got like 50 of them grown together and a half of a metal bin that was given to me and I would like them all in individual pots I have two full-time jobs and the only person that takes care of the house I don't have time to do it but I would love this done and I would be more than happy to pay for it
