The teacher is the only person that needs to hear it though. They're the one giving you the grade after all. And they're part of the audience so this video still applies
In all the schools I've been in there would only be a handful who don't listen. If you put efforts, take interest and present it in an actually serious way then everybody listens.
@@cell2179 Nope, usually we have our topic like metal. One groups does a presentation about blast furnaces, one group about how precious metals affect steel etc. While they give a presentation we should take notes so we have the information for our exams. We don't have a lot of presentation per year so this is usually how it goes.
Yes, one simple, normal comment Majority of the comments trying to create jokes .. but no one give attention or laugh neither a single reply 💀 Really feel annoyed and pitty for them at the same time
@@satoru5750 Ikr! Almost like its their choice to make funny comments Almost like maybe these comments are very obvious Almost like maybe those same people likes the video
Bold of you to assume that my classmates are even going to pay attention to my presentation 😃 Edit : the fact I made this comment for fun and the people in the comments are actually giving me advice 👀
If they do so, just keep talking for the teacher or those who make the effort to listen and have a little bit of empathy. I assume ur in high school, where most dumb and apathic ppl are.
Absoulutely loved ur presentation...probably not taught in schools, but at a.much later age..probs a journalism course or something...typically seen oy on tv
I got around this well, I think. For a presentation in English class we were allowed to use a PowerPoint, and instead of using one with loads fo text and shitty images, it had one picture. I got up, lights went off and on the wall behind me was the CIA logo in black and white. I did my presentation on Operation Acoustic Kitty in the kind of way a military debrief would be done (in movies at least). Teacher smiled the whole way through and said it was very well done and even jogged his own memory as he was alive at the time but has completely forgotten about it.
This idea would be fascinating when you are the public speaker invited to do some presentation for the mass or conference. Not in class setting for grading (or my class).
Sir, I'm going to do a ppt speech in front of our class on the topic comparative study between France monarchy and other European monarchies during the 18th century. Can you please suggest some questions?
I remember there was a smart girl who did this exact and teacher was very happy and clapped for her. Then most of us students though of the same idea and one of my friend (who scores very less wayy often) did this and teacher got so angry that he didn't start with his own introduction. I'm also the bottom student, so I didn't even try.
I had the best presentations. I was always incredibly shy and when forced to go up and present I would just say none of my presentation makes sense when I was strugggling so I could skip ahead a little bit.
I love that, but my teacher would just tell us that it was a waste of time/unnecessary/just get straight to the point and my classmates wouldn't pay attention/make fun of me for being serious. It's pretty discouraging, I gave up being creative a long time ago to catch up grades and stop being called a tryhard, but leaving school rekindles it. So yeah, thanks, this helps. To the ones who are sharing similar experience as me, I hope you won't give in.
Teacher: Alright class, does anyone have any constructive criticism for Jimmy? Class: I think he should've started by stating the topic and then began with the facts 🤓
You only speak this way when you're not pressed for time. At work, we always have 10-15 minutes to present everything and it must be concise and clear with no errors.
i always start a powerpoint with a picture where the others suggest what it could mean and then there comes the title, the main part and at the ende the same picture is shown and they are supposed to say if they would still agree with that or add/remove stuff. And ofc at the end a spongebob picture saying thanks for listening
Do your presentation however you want, in any case no one is gonna be curious abt it not will they care if you make it long so just do whatever you want
This would be only used in college/university presentations. In HS or PS, you only have a certain amount of time and using up the time to just say what is your topic, isn’t ideal.
