I know we live in a world of grey, silver, white, and black cars and when having a sports car one should try and get one with some color, but man....this car in white with the black accents looks amazing.
The lack of color kind of disappoints. I'd prefer red with tan interiors, or blue/ beige, yellow/ tan, even green/ white. Imo, Ferrari does the color thing right.
It's hard to cover all the features of a Mercedes in a video. They're immediately driveable, and they did a great job pulling that off, but there's a whole integrated computer there to discover. My guess is that the mirrors fold, choice of auto or manual, then there's the "distronic" cruise control, and I believe the car will "adapt" to your driving style of the previous five minutes, to anticipate what you want. Then the non-pro [mistake CYA] driver features such as collision avoidance. It has purely software like the service schedule and destination instructions, but in my amateur view, it is a drive-by-wire computer controlled machine that will do good things for you. Very responsive. Unless someone works at it, it may take a couple of months to discover all that they have in that car, and really learn to competently drive a very amazing set of wheels. Most people will never come close to using more than half of the car's capabilities. There was a rally of vintage sports class automobiles with beautiful MG's, Austin Healey's and such. They looked so small, but so very cool. Manual transmission only (clutch pedals, if anyone remembers). They roll and accelerate and are great fun as long as you can get parts, but there's a world of difference between that direct contact with the machine on the road, and today's computers on wheels.
I have an older AMG, the CL 55 AMG, so I'm a fan already. I agree completely; this car is attractive, powerful, and would satisfy all of my needs. Great video and review.

It’s a shame Merc are going to end production of the AMG GT, it truly has been a successful car and makes a great daily driving supercar. Yes, it does meet all of the requirements to be considered a supercar. Moving forward cars will never be the same again, electric vehicles may in some cases be faster, but the reality is they offer zero enjoyment, no thrill factor, no engagement. That’s the issue we face today “car people” only car about numbers and acceleration rather than the driving experience. I owned an early Tesla P85D, pretty damn quick but joyless to drive. From 80mph my AMG GTS would smoke it :)
it had a good run the design will still be a timeless classic.. i personally think that theyre gonna make the new GT a hard top SL an get rid of the soft top GT, for the people who want a soft top GT can just get the SL itll clean up the line a little an makes the most sense to do it that way an the interior looks like an updated gt interior all the signs point too that
An electric car is about as exciting as a refrigerator. I have had a Solarbeam Gt for about 3 yrs now - every drive is memorable - much more memorable than the TVR Cerbera, the Dino 246GT and far more comfortable than our previous Lotus Elise
The company I'm working with right now is offering this exact car(2.5 year lease) for their top sales rep. I'm in the lead. I can't wait to rip the tires off this thing😍

@@Twastwas211 I'll be candid though...there's A LOT of BAD COMPANIES. There's FEW good ones. Don't just research the people you work for. I did that years ago and got my heart broken after I found out they didn't care enough about their clients making money, and that they ALWAYS GOT RICH REGARDLESS. It got me out of the business for YEARS until I REALLY GOT MY HEART... ACTUALLY SOUL...broke by a woman I loved so much I gave up having a career that took 60-70 hour weeks to achieve greatness in to be with and not always be at work for 7 years. I just happened upon a good one. All you need is the gift of gab(100% required), the tenacity to keep at it in the beginning while you're building a pipeline and starving, and no one in your life that you can't live without that doesn't support you working those kind of hours💯😉
@@Twastwas211 No problem friend, but I don't "advise" anyone to get into the oil business...or any other business for that matter. If I had advice to give anyone, it would be to find something you're passionate about that helps other human beings, and do what you have to do in order to get to a place financially where you can do THAT... That's where I am in life. I see this as temporary, and there's a lot more important things out there than money and material BULLSH*T. If you can find someone that will stick with you through the rough parts and love you with fat pockets or no pockets at all while you pursue your true purpose in life, you're already wealthier than most people on this planet. I wish you happiness and love my friend. That's what success really is.
Dang i dont know if its just my speakers but the 2016 gts sound better, i hate they got rid of the gts, the gtc looks odd to me, search up benzman he did a review on the gts and the way it sounds is lovely.
for 138,200 there are way better sports cars for that much money. I would rather buy the :porsche 911 GT3 porsche just looks better. tech is old they need to up date it for that much money it should have new desighn and new tech

This Mercedes AMG GT is a garage queen..... it's NOT reliable for daily driving.....it will have all kinds of electrical problems..... you buy it to look at it like a piece of art....not for driving like a machine
I own a 2017 AMG GTS. mercedes/AMG are doing away with the GT model.IDIOTS!!! The GT could have been to AMG what the 911 is to Porsche. So...this clip is of 0 meaning. Sorry bud.
