Hey guys, make sure you stay away from every single zero sugar energy drink ever produced, because they are bad for you. Except for the one that im sponsored by😂😂
@@kalebgeleso3881 evidence? they've yet to be proven to cause anything as far as im aware and excessive sufar causes cancer, so isnt it just the same with reduced obesity
Bang is garbage. They even just lost a lawsuit to monster for false advertisement. Their drinks are just trash and provide almost 0 of what they say it does.
@@adrianchavez831kc your "limit" or "what works for you" is how your body is addicted to the sugar. Your limit should be still 30-35g per day, assuming you're a dude
Sometimes you do actually have to try it to judge it. I’ve got the fun type of adhd where you get tired when you drink caffeine instead of energetic and my body adjusts to every drug thing way too quick so I always gravitate more towards the pre workout guys like c4 and Celsius instead of the caffeine powered ones like Red Bull and monster because I’d have to take like a 3 or more day break and chug them to feel anything. I drank c4 a lot more but I’ve pretty much fully moved to Celsius because although I think they both work really well, I’ve learned that the c4 makes my blood sugar drop like crazy and I go from full to hunger nausea straight away. Celsius must be more chill about it or must do it a different way because I do get hungry but at a rate that seems more normal, plus since it says that it speeds up your metabolism it probably is supposed to do that anyway. This is my Ted Talk thanks for probably not watching!😆
omg I actually tried that one (Rise)! that nitro cold brew coffee one is so bad though. I love coffee but that drink is just gross. I think it's cuz the carbinated/nitro effect mainly. the one I really like right now is called "bio-steel." just 10 calories per bottle
I like Red Bull, Monster, and C4 as well as Bang. One of my coworkers put me up on ghost recently, so I'm trying that out now and so far I actually like it, I even the grape burn without caffeine actually works. I haven't actually tried the drinks yet.
Both are natural caffeines just like this dudes rise. But actually taste good. I’d personally stay away from 300mg for daily which is why ghost is my daily
I don’t think he’s sponsored, and I’m being brutally honest, I swim and I drink rise on every meet, I drank red bull once and I felt like I was dying, when I drank rise, that shit lasted for like 4 hours. Anyways don’t hate on him, he is trying to teach. Thanks🎉
Monster makes a tea lemonade that is for Rehydration and is perfect for after a workout or hiking. Electrolytes and B12, coconut water etc. it’s perfect for after being exhausted. - that is 100% healthy for an athlete. Lemonade is great for you and tea etc. total sugars 3. Calories 25
I can't drink regular hi sugar energy drinks anymore I'm a type 2 diabetic, if they're not sugar-free or zero sugar, black coffee or zip fizz, or Mio Energy or Walmart great value energy, Monster energy Ultra and Monster energy Zero.
My newest favorite drink is the fast twitch thing by Pepsi, it’s basically just caffeine juice and is only 5-10 calories with 0 sugar. Still doing research on the ingredients since I’m not smart enough to understand the label to make sure it’s not dangerous but it helps me stay within my macros and still get my caffeine in the morning. I would drink reign but none of the flavors were quite what I preferred other than maybe their gummy bear flavor
@@zzkillerzombieguy5786 most energy drinks are carbonated water …but c4 has L-citrulline which helps with good blood flow also helps with “downstairs” Vitamin b12 - b6 A lot of great things in it. C4 is definitely one of the better ones on that shelf
^It has less than half a gram of sucralose. That's it. Y'all are way too stiff about sweeteners. If it had a bunch of aspartame like diet soda, you'd have a point.
I've been drinking red bull like an addict on and off for yearssss. My body loves it and I don't feel the crash. I know its not good for my liver but my body loves all the added Vitamin B
The sugar crash is avoidable if the caffeine content is high. A sugar crash would not affect the workout, as the crashing of your insulin would happen till about 2 hours after your workout
It gets addictive, for me at least, I started drinking them for work and eventually ended up drinking 2 everyday, it’s almost to the point where I cant drink anything flat, like it has to be carbonated, I just started to quit but if you have self control and a good sleep schedule, you dont really need energy drinks
@@Bruhhduz 😒 god you people love claiming addiction. Caffeine is addictive and you just have a preference. It's not that serious. Withdrawals are literally *I'm tired and cranky". Move along.
@@thereisonlycis3566 what you mean by “You people” 🤨🤨🤨🤨 And yes your right I am more tired now that I stopped but even after that I’m starting to actually get proper sleep. But really though thank you for reading the whole thing. (I’m assuming you did)
Pretentious, no shit sugar is bad. Most of the drinks you mentioned to stay away from are sugar free and have alcohol sugars instead which are completely innocuous and processed by the liver easily. Coffee is not an energy drink, so basically you're just suggesting people drink coffee instead. Some people don't like coffee.
I don’t have a war hardened stomach to be able to drink a coffee before anything physical, a celsius is the only one thing energy that I can muster without absolutely violating the nearest toilet
Bro Red Bull like you put a battery on your tongue, ate a penny and then ate a dum dum lollipop. In what way has that ever screamed health conscious. I love it.
Red Bull, vegan, has vitamin b12, great flavor... it's something I enjoy and would be willing to spend money on. Coffee is good and has caffeine, but I would never equate coffee to an energy drink. Especially, because I can make better coffee at home, than I can buy.
Energy drinks messed me up Gave me irregular heartbeat That was in 2017 I'm still wrecked now My oesophagus is leaking acids giving me acid reflux It is weakened by caffeine When I was a delivery driver eating proper food and drinking water It kept me awake for 14 hour shifts Caffeine does not give you energy That is impossible It blocks the signal to tell you you are tired , if you are already tired then it's useless Which is quite dangerous if you are exhausted and you don't know
Coffee, melt some 93% cacao in it, mix in some taurine, ginseng, L thiamine, citruline malate, alpha gpc, beta alanine - pure pre workout. Just buy it all seperately and mix yourself.
Carbohydrates are needed and are utilized almost instantly when consumed during strenuous activity. However, sugary drinks are frowned upon only in the sense of drinking it for pleasure and outside of physical activity. As you said, “this is sugar water, you will spike then crash,” unfortunately you do have a point, but this only applies for people drinking it outside of activity. If you are working out and do not have ample amount of glucose or any sugar in your body you will become hypoglycemic or better known as bonking which is worse than a sugar crash.
I started experimenting with energy drinks in moderation with my workouts. Soda is objectively terrible for you; but sugar free Red Bull can't be worse than soda.
@@millabasset1710 it’ll provide energy through caffeine, however, you are more susceptible to low blood sugar and experiencing false energy due to the lack of carbohydrates. Fasted activity is fine but depleting your glycogen stores is far worse than 30g of sugar during activity.
The UK doesn’t have nearly as much energy drinks. As someone who is practically addicted to them part of me is glad but another part wants me to move to the US.
Energy Drinks in general are bad, but we drink and eat a lot of things considered bad for us. The best kind of energy drinks would be the ones that get the caffeine from more natural sources like Green Tea Extract. Or just use moderation. =D
caffeine is what's gonna give you energy and it doesn't matter what can it comes in, your going to crash after anyways depending on how much is in the drink
You know the secret to not getting a sugar crash? Keeping up the sugar intake. When I do long distance cycling I take sugar water every twenty minutes, starting 1 hours before I head out, and in the last 2 hours I slow it down and stop half an hour before I stop. Gotta rinse that sugar from your mouth for teeth health, but yeah - sugar is amazing for this.
I just make my aeropress ice coffee and add some sprite zero in it, helps get the 600mg caffeine per day without dealing too much with a coffee taste (which can be overwhelming at this amount), also energy drinks are just too sweet even without sugar
