How'd Gen 1 have been like with mascot Bug Legendaries of red, green, blue, and yellow colors? As the game was started from a real-life Bug Maniac from real-life Kanto.
WHERE IS ROTOM TV FORM? JK, but honestly, given how it's first introduced, Why ISNT there a TV Form? Heck, there's your Steel Type right there. I want A poison Type Fossil Pokemon... Just imagine... A Cuttlefish. A Cuttlefish that Evolves into A Giant Squid... But They're Rock/Poison. Could make them Very Cutesy pokemon, and name them Cutiefish and Squidorable... (with an ability like Pixellate, but for poison type... Envenom?) The other Fossil could be an Eel. An Eel that Evolves into a Tuna. Rock/Fairy, but not Cutesy at all... Tidreel and Tunami... (with Pixellate) Also, Gen 8 DID have a proper Fossil pokemon... it just Wasn't Revived from a Fossil. Think about it... all fossils are Based on Extinct plants and animals... And there's this interesting Ghost/Dragon based on the Diplocaulus... I firmly believe that Dreepy was originally intended to be Galars Fossil pokemon...
Here’s some options I want to see happen one day: Regi: Registellar (Psychic type) Eeveelution: Ferreon (Steel Type) Unused type combo: Isickle (Ice/Poison type)
I love how the planned Eeveelutions were the 3 we got in Gen I + Leafeon. Pikachu is a kind of Starter in that sense. Besides that, the Electric type has a great interaction with the other 3: its SupEff against Water, Resisted by Grass, & Neutral to Fire.
especially since several pokemon could have *easily* been these types. Houndstone, galarian yamask/Runerigus, and galarian corsola/Cursola could have been ghost rock. Yanma and yanmega are dragonflies and would have been a fantastic play on words as a dragon/bug. Dachsbun being overcooked bread could have been amazing as a fairy/fire!
A bug/dragon Pokémon and a return to traditional fossil with new type combos would be amazing. Guess gen 9 used past paradox as pseudo fossils without the rock type “impurity” but still not the same
I forget where, but someone wondered why Slither Wing wasn't Bug/Dragon, and I can't blame them. Instead of the Fighting-type moves, it could've had Dragon Dance, Outrage, Dragon Rush, Breaking Swipe, Dragon Tail, Dragon Cheer, and maybe Dragon Claw.
With the Eeveelutions, Lockstin did a fascinating video about how the types we do have were categorized as Special Attack back in Gen II before variations, with the exception of Dragon.
There is an explaination of why Castform does not have a sandstorm form, at least in lore. The forms are based on humidity and temperature. Ice type is for frozen precipitation, water is for rain, normal is temperate weather condition, and fire is the lack of water in the air.
I think for Rotom, the devices should still be household appliances or devices possibly found in a home, like a food processor for fighting (chops food, karate chops opponents?), an automatic scent diffuser for fairy, an American garbage disposal for poison, a toy excavator for ground, a rock tumbler (that some collectors have) for rock, a TV for psychic (because you get hypnotised into watching or something), a microphone for bug (because of spy tapping, called bug :D), a drone for steel, a lamp for dark (for irony of course), an old PC for dragon (it gains a lot of processing power so it will unlock its inner strength), and a calculator for normal!
Most wanted type for... Eeveelution - Flying, I think it has design potential Rotom Form - Fighting, I've seen plenty of cool designs for that, I like the one I saw of an Arcade Cabinet Rotom Pikaclone - Fire, honestly how is the only Electric/Fire Pokemon just a Rotom form Fossil - Dark, I feel it's about time we have another Rock/Dark pokemon because I think the typing is epic Route 1 Pokemon - Ice/Flying, Ice needs better representation in Pokemon Mythical (I really just view them as a category of Legendaries TBH) - Ice, there could be potential Starter Evo - Rock, I just love that type
I’m still shocked that Houndstone didn’t end up Rock/Ghost. It was the PERFECT opportunity. Castform could also have different forms for terrains depending on how much they wanted to stretch the definition of “weather”.
The reason that Sandstorm and Fog doesn't have a form for Castform is because it's not considered a natural weather condition, since Sandstorms can only happen whenever a huge gust of wind kicks up sand/dirt for long periods of time/over vast distances, whereas fog is a phenomenon that happens when humidity sticks close to the ground, making a thin but dense cloud that makes it hard to see, hence making it a byproduct of rain
Looking forward to Fire/ Fairy, Bug/ Dragon, Rock/Ghost and Ice/Poison Pokémons. I really hope they get cool designs and good stats. Also, would love more pseudo-legendaries that aren't part dragon, like Tyranitar and Metagross.
I would like to see more fossils! I enjoyed the galar monstrosities (especially Dracovish) and Lockstin had an idea for some ice age fossils that looked neat and I would love to see that or more monstrosities!
When I heard “Ice/Poison”, my mind immediately went to that old trick you see in mystery stories: freezing poison in the center of an ice cube. The poison is not released until enough of the outer ice has melted away, which can be used by the murderer to create an alibi or just delay the kill. Maybe it could be a new branch of Vanillite family.
My ideas for Rotom forms include Phone Rotom (Electric/Fairy; different from the Rotom Phone as it's based more on a flip phone than a smartphone), Screen Rotom (Electric/Poison; based on the old CRT TVs, especially the earlier radiation-producing models), and Voice Rotom (Electric/Dragon; based on a handheld microphone).
Glad to hear about over 100 Pokémon we could see in the future and the kind of Pokémon they can be There must be thousands (if not tons of millions) of inanimate objects and hundreds of millions of creatures that haven’t made into Pokémon yet, so it’s good to be creative with these over 100 Pokémon we never seen before to take inspiration for some of them 😊
A fairy type Rotom is when it possesses a Pokemon center. A psychic type Rotom is when it possesses an elevator and can time travel as a result. Yes, both are canon, but I made up the types.
Mew has an exclusive z-move, so that's technically covered. The Rotom forms have to be based on household appliances, specifically those that children often engage with. Eevee's evolutions were all originally special types before the physical/special split (save for fairy, which came much later). The Regis represent different ages of human history.
I definitely want to see Dewgong, Arbok, both Nidonar, and maybe Dodrio getting the mega-evolution/regional variant treatment. As for Eeveelutions, I'm still waiting for the fighting, rock, and ghost type.
Currently working on my own region just for fun, which I'll eventually release artwork and story guides for, and I am making some of these combos happen New type combos: Bug / Normal Steel / Normal Poison / Ice Fire / Fairy New starter secondary types: Grass / Ice Water / Rock (the fire starter is Fire / Ground) Arbok receives a new form Nidoqueen and Nidoking receive new forms New Pika-clone: Electric / Fire Psuedo legendary: Bug / Poison Fire / Rock type Fossil Psychic / Rock Fossil
Literally the ORIGINAL Pikaclone was Water Type. lol Marill is 100% the actual Pikaclone of Gen 2, NOT Pichu. Pichu is NOT a Pikaclone at all. It's a baby actual Pikachu.
@@SupremeKingZA-RC It's not up for debate. It is more of a Pikaclone than virtually ALL the other Pikaclones. It was VERY obviously designed to be a Pikachu clone, except water. It only had two stages and evolved into a less popular 2nd stage. And then later they came back and gave it a baby form. All EXACTLY like Pikachu and Raichu, and then Pichu. Marill CREATED and DEFINED the Pikaclone concept.
@@ieyke The only things that set the two lines apart are the how Marill evolves, Marill not having either a G-Max or exclusive Z-Move like Pikachu & Azumarill not having a regional form like Raichu. Apart from those defining factors you'd be correct in saying that Marill follows the clone philosophy to a t.
@@mbcmechachu And G-max and Alolan Raichu are VERY new things. Next time we see Marill back in focus (outside Johto), it'll probably get a new regional form too.
speaking of starter pokemon we never seen before, make fakemon starters that are basicly missing starters to a unique trio. Like a Trio of monkey starters. We had fire monkey; Chimchar, Grookey who's a grass monkey and now we need a Water Monkey starter. Next, make a Water starter that is a magic user like Delphox and Meowscarada. The water starter of that trio sould be a bunny
What type would a fog Castform be, though? Fog is water vapor, and Castform already has Water covered. Flying, maybe? This is a bit of a stretch, but fog is basically a cloud at ground level, and Defog is a Flying move.
I think a cool idea to do with the nido lines is to have a new line that only can happen when nidoqueen and king breed. And that line be even stronger than its parent line. Same types though.
lol as a fakemon artist its quite fun to see this video, because is what we all try to guess in the excersie of drawing new forms or fill some areas geamefreak is not using yet xD ...Still think that dewgong line has a lot of potential due to how simple it looks and how much freedom it gives for potential new forms
Would love a new Dewgong evolution. Maybe named something like Narwhul to keep the naming convention of the line the same. And it of course being a Narwhal by the end of it.
Im making a fakemon region, and I have an Electric/Fire Pika clone, a Bug/Dragon legendary, a Fairy/Ground mythical, and a Ghost/Rock fossil! So I unintentionally checked off a lot of the boxes from this video😂
Personally, I'm waiting for the Hypno and Arbok line to finally get some attention like Mega Evo or just the new evo from GameFreak, because they really need it
I am still under the impression that we will never see a new eeveelution because of fakemon and eevee's grand popularity. Last I checked they don't like using fan made pokemon designs and eevee's popularity has derived so many variations of the missing eeveelution types, I feel we only got Sylveon because they made a whole new type for it allowing them to get ahead of the fans on it.
I think a great candidate to represent the Ice/Poison type could be the European Adder. It's the northern most venomous snake and has been documented to be found above the Arctic circle. A bit on the nose, but I think a good English name could be Arctadder.
The weirdest Eeveelution that's missing is Dragon since it's the last pre physical-special split Special Attack type (that was a mouthful) that doesn't have one
Actually there WAS a Legendary Bug-Type, that was Genesect in Gen 5, except that he became a mythical in Gen 6 when that group was introduced. Also I think it's interesting that all of the groups you were talking about are Type-related yet there's also the Elite Four who still don't have 4 Types that were never used for (and yes I know they are not actual Pokemon but still). And speaking of Types, Ice/Poison-Type is actually a Type combination that I would be very curious for alongside Bug/Dragon. Oh and you forgot about Rockruff being a Route 1 Pokemon who is a Rock-Type. And of course I always want Golduck to have something new. It has been a long time and I want it to happen!
So many Pokémon that are never before seen should happen sometime Like yeah, typings like fighting/fairy, poison/ ice, poison psychic and yes, even bug/ dragon As well as tons more there Not to mention starters of type triangles other than grass, Fire and Water
I want to see more of everything, although I do want more love for fossil pokemon. But, I really really want (no need) more ultra beasts and pokemon from space!
I wonder if they would ever consider introducing a 4 stage evolution line. I guess mega evolutions kinda fill that role and there’s a lot of 2 stage evolution lines that need to get some attention first, but I’m curious. Probably depends how far they’ll take the whole series
I feel like a lot of people consider mythicals to also be legendaries, so Genesect would count as the only Bug legendary. Though, for the next mainline game, it would be cool to see one box legends being bug type, like a big ol scarab or tarantula
Here is a the thing. The group of Mythical Pokemon started to exist only from Gen 6. Until Gen 5 they were all Legendaries, and Genesect is from Gen 5.
Technically Pikachu and Eevee are considered starters because of Pokemon Yellow and Let's Go, which are main series games, so I don't see how you can say electric and normal aren't represented in starters.
Pseudos will never get the Bug typing because Bug types are notoriously weak, and a Pseudo with that much of a weakness won't really be much of a Pseudo
Pichu is not a pikaclone. Pichu was an addition to the line. I don’t care if it’s an electric rat, it’s not a clone. It’s a member of the family. I know marill isn’t an electric type, but it was made to fill the same marketing niche as pikachu. Marill is the pikaclone for gen 2
Wouldn't you count Mankey as an early route pkmn? Flying/Fairy and Bug/Dragon would make a great early route duo last stages. The same way the Dark type allowed Psychic to be an early route mon in Hoenn, it's about time Fairy does the same to Dragon.
I would say we don’t have a fairy dragon combo because honestly while mega is cool they aren’t in every game. So outside of mega we need a dragon fairy mon
Can you do a video on how the Pokemon anime shows the same Pokemon species with different behaviors/ characteristics. For example and the reason why am asking, Dragonite. All the Dragonites in the anime that are own by different trainers act completely different from each other, unlike most other species.
I think you could get away with any of the stronger types like Dragon on Route 1 if you also limit them to being like a two stage evolution line that maxes out its base stats in the mid to high 400's. Essentially the franchises weakest Dragon line.
Runegrigus and G Corsola should have had the Rock/Ghost type. Yanmega should have had the Bug/Dragon type. Dachsbun should have had the Fairy/Fire type. It's not a lack of options, it's a lack of will.
I want them to turn Castform into the new Porygon counterpart and evolve it into Overcastform 💀 With an upgrade, it now has the ability to change into forms depending on all 4 weathers that interact with all 4 terrains with a signature move that changes type deoending in the setting and can be a dual type move if both terrain and weather are set.
And on that note too, I could totally see them giving us a Gag Ditto evolution as well, with a new ability that transforms everytime a new pokemon enters the field.
I think a fire water earth and air regi could happen since they are elements of nature or they can make them form changes for Regigigas make him into a transforming golem.
Well we know rotom uses a phone a drone a bike a pokedex and a pc like machine Phone = psychic Drone = dark Pc = fighting * looks like a arcade game Dex = normal * everyone has a dex Bike = ground * electric bicycle
