This is the answer you’re looking for: 3 main characters…Hatman, No Hatman, and Dog. No Hatman stole Hatman’s dog, and tried to claim him as his own naming him Lucky, hence the collar. Hatman was smart and implanted a microchip in Dog. He tracked Dog’s location to the creepy cottage of No Hatman. When he arrived at the cottage, he interrupted No Hatman while beating Dog violently. Dog’s leg was badly injured and Hatman intervened by attacking No Hatman. They struggled until Hatman was knocked unconscious injuring his head. No Hatman fled the cottage and Dog chased him. Due to the injury, Dog collapsed around the ruins. Hatman awoke to search for Dog. The noise you hear at the ruins when Hatman is searching for his dog is Dog’s tail wagging against the wall. Hatman finds Dog and brings him back to his very cool SUV. He goes back out to pursue No Hatman as he wanders about looking for any signs of No Hatman, he hears the sound of a man falling down a hill and getting badly injured. No Hatman tried to escape, but tripped down the hill hitting his head on the rock and paralyzing himself. Hatman finds him and proceeds to avenge his best friend by burying No Hatman alive with the fraudulent collar. Apparently No Hatman’s ending was very ironic being that he wasn’t very lucky stealing Hatman’s dog.

I'm guessing the prey attacked his dog, he confronted him at his house, and was knocked out. The story begins. Moral don't mess with man's best friend!
uhhh, not sure what this was about. Gorgeous footage and filming. A little too much quiet build up. And not sure how this involved the man getting his dog back. I'll check back on comments, see what others who are smarter than me have come up with!
Same. I liked it, but I feel like there was a story there I should have been able to piece together, but couldn't. I didn't understand how the pieces fit together. But I sometimes am not the best at implied meaning, so it could just be I'm not intuitive enough. At first I thought he was keeping this man in his house like a pet, and the guy attacked him to get away. But then I saw "Lucky" was a real dog, and still alive... and that's when I was like "OK, well, there goes my theory."
I first thought the man was keeping the other guy as his pet and he escaped and he had to put him down because of his injuries. Fast forward now I think the guy is a animal lover and the other guy was abusive to the Lucky they got into a fight and the guy killed him to put him out of his misery .BUT WHAT DO I KNOW 😂😂😂
I also thought the No Hat Guy 'was' the pet at first. But it appears the real dog was with Hat Guy, before No Hat Guy stole him/beat him. Then Hat Guy shows him what you do when someone hurts your dog... :)
Guessing here but... I think the man on the hunt is searching for the "fallen man" who attacked him & when he finds him, he avenged his own kinda mountain justice. Not so sure about why the dog collar was buried with him unless it was the dead mans dog & he didn't want anyone to recognize "Lucky" by the collar. ( Just a guess🤔🤔)
Hatman takes his dog for a walk. No Hatman knock's dog with car and does not stop. Hatman walks to No Hatman's house and they fight. No Hatman runs away and falls and injures himself. Hatman follows him and buries him. Hatman takes No Hatman's car and drives dog home and takes care of dog. Goat ran to greet them as he missed both of them as they were much longer away than expected.
The cinematography and color grading are beautiful. Not a lot of story though . I’m still subbing though because as a beginner filmmaker, I can learn a lot from you.
Very cool 👍👍👍 it’s like a black story. You can guess what happened before. Is the dog at the end Lucky? Or was there another dog, why else would he burry the prey with the dog’s collar? Who attacked whom first? Is the prey guilty of anything? Could the knackerman be a psychopath? It’s up to our interpretation of clues we get. Very nicely done short film, guys 🤘
the guy was late for his train because he wanted to take a goat he was starving, owner surprises him fights the thief, dog attacks and kills the guy...man buries the guy
