Bro, they stand there for hours upon hours playing full speed and belting every note perfectly. Underrated is an understatement. I'm will you on this one, can't understand how they're not way more well known than they are.
Saw the mummies last night never seen more energy from a band or talent the singer guitar player seemed to be having the time of his life. It's great to see such talented musicians enjoying what there doing. What an entrance too! I will go again.
HCtM are pretty much a big touring side project. Rumor is most of the members are under contract with different labels and the mummy gimmick is to hide their identities. My guess is the group exists so the members can have fun making and playing the music they want instead of what their labels want them to make.
@@Anomaly188 - That's utter bollocks. Just because you're signed to a label, that doesn't mean you.... actually, I genuinely can't be bothered to explain, because even you must know that's not how the music industry works no matter how much you'd like to think it does 🙄
I've seen them twice. The first time was at a state fair, and most of the audience watched to get out of the rain. But the SECOND time, was at night, in an outdoor venue, and they were the headliners. I was right up front, maybe seven feet from the lead singer. Second best concert of my life!!! . (Seeing Queen, with Freddy Mercury, from the second row center, will always be my #1 concert, sorry). .
Just got back from their show at Bluegrass Underground. Yep, Mummies playing in a cave room 333 feet below terra firma. They absolutely "ROCKED" the cave and the booties were shaking with all that Funk. Outstanding show!
Saw these guys again last night. Not my first time and the place was rocking! These guys command their stage! High energy One band, that can make it sound like they are in a recording studio when they are on stage. I think they have as much fun or maybe more than the people in the audience. They are well choreographed, and all very talented. All original work, no covers! I have been going to concerts for 59 years and I think at this point I know a good one when I see it. Why are these guys not famous all over? They should be!
I have been to a concert of the mummies it was funny and I was dancing and I had a lil crowd around me it was great... but I was only 5 at that time now I'm 11 XD but it was great😊
What if it is Rob Thomas? They started this band so record labels wouldn't find out. But I happen to think these guys are all tremendous studio artists.and not actually really famous musicians, but famous in their own way
Rob Thomas is actually pretty talented instrumentally. I believe he plays a variety of instruments, guitar, keyboard and a few others. His voice sound like the singer, but unless Rob has lost a little weight, I’m not sure. Also sounds like the singer of Sublime to me too in some songs.
Really miss Oozy and Teste Verde in the sound. The new group doesn't have the same sizzle. This is the original with Teste and Oozy, smok'n to say the least.....
Saw these crazy kids open up for El monstero tonight what a show they ended up letting loose and the fact that both the brass section lead guitarist and lead vocalist got to do solos with the band now that was hell of an experience especially since I was really pretty close to the stage
I saw them live at house of blues houston a few years back when I worked in the music hall. They did the same March in entrance. Freak flag was so cool live
I saw them in Detroit and I have to just say wow!!! I didn't want to go because I never heard of them before then. Great talent and show had so much energy. Must see!!
I love you !! I went to your show at the Ritz in Tiffin, OH and I had no one to go with, no one had ever heard of you- I went anyway! WOW! You are so amazing and SO talented, I want to be your personal baker for the next show, let me know when you will be here, I have been the personal baker for a lot of shows there before, like ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK and many others. I would love to spoil you all with some great home made yummies, let me know what you all like. We do love you all here!
