These people don't have jobs that require pickups, don't use the towing functionality, or use the bed except for as junk storage or as an oxygen tank to hold air 90% of the time. These people would be perfectly well served by renting a truck or borrowing one from a friend. My whole family utilizes a single pickup truck.... like all 8 of us. Families of similar size will have 8 people and 6 or 7 trucks with not a single person doing a trade job. I supervise guys who have work vehicles they use at work every day... and they drive into the office with Ford F150's and Silverados. We don't do construction. The trucks are sparkling clean. This is my point.

Even the production model has thinner steel panels than he said it would but they're thick enough that they wouldn't crumple like the fake cybertruck in the faked crash test.

@@strangelyukrainian7314 The F-650 is a chassis which has a ton of uses. Ambulances, Tow Trucks, Roadside service trucks, Electrical and communications maintenance vehicles. The rapid transit system around me is built on F-650's, because they hold a bunch of people and don't have the huge downsides of full size busses. Even the triple cab he complains about here is useful because it'll haul 8 people and all their gear.

@@raisin8051 These trucks have tanks to match their size, you have around 50 gallons of fuel at least that will take you much further than 150 kms. It is quite pointless comparing an F650 to any Tesla product.

Regular 22.5" commercial tires are roughly 44" tall. But I understand what you're saying, just being asinine.

You clearly don’t live in a place that has bad weather, 4 wheel drive is very much needed on just about every vehicle even if you don’t drive off road. Just last month in January I used 4 wheel drive to get to work in the snow. Also 40 inch tires are about standard for a light/medium commercial truck of that size. So it’s weird you try and say people are compensating for something when utilizing what comes standard from factory.

I have 44" tires on my deuce and a half... but they are only on it to allow me to do 60 instead of the normal top speed of 55.

Four wheel low is needed on big inclines loaded trust me gear reduction and probably more important going down 😮

@@Ross-ql9fi I use low range on my deuce just for $hits and giggles. It's fun to split the gears and row through them all from time to time. The nice thing is low range has nothing to do with 4x4 and can be shifted on the fly. When it's loaded using low range is an absolute must. I'm surprised more people don't use the divorced transfer cases from a deuce in 4x4 builds. They sure do use the 2.5 ton Rockwell axles a lot but leave all the other goodies behind.

It's because there is 0 benefit to this. Carrying capacity is the same as a regular truck while gas, drivability, power to weight ratio, parking, and general cost are all extremely poor. Super car at least has amazing power to weight ratio and drivability.

If you buy this truck, you’re not buying it to haul stuff around in a pickup bed. That would be a waste of time and money.
