I have a 2016 Civic Coupe EXT. I, too, can open the car windows and sunroof using the remote. I love my car. I drove a Miata for 15 years, bought this in 2016. What a great car. Great options: turbo, rear camera, passenger side camera, heated seats, fog lights, Brake Hold (love this feature while waiting at long lights), Apple Play, A/C. Just the right amount of bells and whistles. (The Miata had no bells or whistles)

I recently bought a 2019 Civic Sport and am trying to get to know my car better because I love Hondas and am very proud to own this car. One day my battery died (my own fault) and, because of this video, I knew how to get my school bag out of the trunk with a dead battery, essentially saving me from failing a major assignment that was locked in the trunk! So, thank you for this video 😁

I had a 2000 Civic ran great, had a 2006 Civic (fighter plane split dashboard style) engine block replaced by Honda due to defect at 99k miles, then traded it in at 192k miles. Civics are great practical cars and Honda puts their best foot forward with them. Thanks for making this video.

Damn, the remote window roll-down is soooo cool, I didn't even know this kind of feature even exists. Also, good info on the dead battery trunk release. I have to check now if my car has this kind of back-up.

Volkswagen has been doing the whole "rolling the Windows down" for a long time. And surprisingly a lot of VW owners have absolutely no idea it even did that. Except with VW you don't do it from the key fob you have to stick the key in the door and hold it. Still a cool feature tho!!! 😎👍

The unlock button for the windows works on almost all Honda’s. My 2008 Honda Accord LX model has the same feature

My ‘05 Accord rolls down the windows and back up as well. I believe it does it for all Honda’s ‘03 and up

window trick works on hatchback ex, doesn't seem to be just on touring models. :)

My cars windows don’t go fully down like yours. The windows just go down a bit and the sunroof pops open but doesn’t fully open

You can also change when you hit the keyfob and silent the horn

This is the car I want and now I’m just more excited to eventually get it when I’m older

Does the phone charger stay on/hot when the engine is off? Nothing like running errands and finding out your phone battery is dead, but you can't leave it to charge while your car is parked.

I have a 2016 Civic Touring sedan in this same exterior and interior colors. I bought it used a little over a year ago and I still enjoy driving it daily. I really need to order that cool Canadian "turbo" door sill decal since our U.S Civics don't get them from Honda.

My car is a Volkswagon ‘03 and it does the same window thing

It does not have a camera on the left side mirror cause it’s not a natural movement to turn left and instead of looking at the mirror, to look at the screen. Nonetheless on the right side when you turn to the right mirror you could watch both, the mirror and add some help with the camera, but always as a addition and not a substitution for the mirror.

Theres no camera on the right side because you can clearly see it and its not a blind spot.

They don’t have a camera on the left side coz the camera on the right is for showing the blind spot not for curbs

If you hold lock button on key fob it will close the windows and sun roof you don't need to do it with key😂😂😂

The right side camera is for the blind spot when changing lanes. It comes in handy all the time when I’m on the highway. There isn’t one on the left because it’s much easier to look over your shoulder on that side to see your blind spot… but it’s much harder to see it on the right.

To put all the windows up you just do exactly what you do to put the windows down except you press the lock button. works on my 2018 Civic.

The only annoying thing is the response time of the display

I was amused when I discovered that with the wipers on delay they will slow their pace down when your car is stopped.

I was also surprised too about not having a camera on the left side mirror, but apparently they dont want you to look on the screen when you turn left. Ie: looking right when you turn left.

Well done and thank you! Just tried the window trick on my 2019 Honda Civic Type R and it worked perfectly! How useful especially walking to my car on a hot day. It is also great not having to get in the car to roll up all the windows. Thought this would work on my 2019 Toyota as well but no, this is definitely a Honda Civic thing. I was already impressed by the Civic platform, and I am even more impressed now. Thanks again!

The window thing also works for the basic model. I bought that one, I think it’s the lx, if I’m not mistaken.
