This is a super short animation made by one guy! See me on Twitter to see what I'm up to! Do not repost. ◆tiwtter: / gensho_yasuda ◆tiktok: / gensho_yasuda #Shorts
All of these animations have a charm to them. Adding dialog would almost take away from the expressions shown. They convey so much just through actions
The idea that kitsune in human disguise are just instantly transformed into suits or wedding dresses during sun showers is funny! Very cute, but probably a bit inconvenient. (For anybody who doesn't know, when it rains but is still sunny out, it can also be called a fox's wedding in Japan, although I'm not quite sure why/where it came from.)
In my country if it rains when it's sunny, the superstition would be that there are Tikbalangs (inverse centaurs maybe? There is no direct translation) being married
I was too mesmerized by fox girl calling up my phone that I forgot how surreal it feels to see a payphone and a smartphone interface on the same screen.
For those who are unaware, the reason she transformed into wearing a wedding dress at 0:40 is because, in Japan, sunshowers are sometimes referred to as The Fox’s Wedding.
@@justacarguy8777 you don't know about "the fox wedding"? in japanese mythology, when it's raining on a day but that day is bright like isn't raining, means that day is the day when a yokai fox married other yokai fox, known as "the fox wedding" day. And yes, the scene you pointed is the joke about "the fox wedding"
These animations are always so clean and well done I'm absolutely amazed and I love every character you've made so far, somehow you manage to portray more personality and meaning without words and in such short clips than most multi million box office movies portray in their entire film. Keep up the great work.
