We went with the Borla Atak. It sounds amazing. It turns heads wherever we go and even my die hard V8 buddies think it sounds like the best 4 cylinder ever.
Although I don't have a KN, I did opt for the Stillen mid-pipe for my EN (yet to install). Yes I could've just deleted my single resonator for "the sound" but after seeing Polish Bullitt's dyno results, inperson, for just the axle-back back...I'm sold! He gained 17 whp and 31 wtq and it sounds GREAT🏁🏁
@CaliforniaKonaN he is...but with the Stillen TruControl you can turn it on/off, so he did on the first pull. His baseline from May 23' was 277/283, then with the exhaust and NO help from the piggyback it made 293/314, saw it live in mid Dec 23'. Turned on Stillen TruControl it made 330/353...AMAZING!
Ayyy that'll be a good one! I got the SXTH intercooler but probably won't be able to install till summer just with timing. Can't wait for the next vids!
Wish more of these came in axle-back only options. I have the SXTH downpipe, AFE midpipe and OEM axle-back. Decided I want to upgrade the axle-back, but I’m limited by options now since I don’t want to buy an “extra” midpipe.
I hate pops lol, burbles are cool. I purchased the borla for the louder idle deep tones. Now N mode isn’t usable in my opinion given how aggressive it is but that’s ok. I can keep it in normal mode and not have to keep switching it every time I start the car. I don’t like the black tips as it removes the contrast of the silver tips surrounded by the black fear fairing.
Not exactly exhaust related, but could you recommend some KN forums/sites for mods? I have a lowering kit & custom intake ready to install, but that's about all. Thanks!

I pay high, cause bundled with my partner who is a new driver (they don't recognize internal experience) and also my area I live is probably the highest accident rates in California. I believe they would still classify this as a Hyundai CUV / SUV, not sure if they'll flag as a sports car in the traditional sense. Also the whole thing with the Kia Boyz and insurance companies denying Hyundai / KIAs though 2018 and lower models probably doesn't help!
@@CaliforniaKonaN Damn man, thats rough. Im looking towards getting an Elantra N line sometime this month, since Kona Ns are pretty expensive here in Canada. Looking into one thats slightl;y used as my 1st car, since i want something that feels a lil bit sporty without having to shell out the money for a full on sport. Wish me luck in my search brother!
I need more single res delete videos. I was thinking about just deleting the middle one (NA) bc i want zero drone and for it to sound basically stock in normal but I just want louder pops
I've heard from a few owners that even deleting both resonators will still have zero drone. Def hit up @TheSoulofmyCivic on YT and IG (the single res delete vid). She'd have more insight as well!
Just got a Kona N recently. Personally not a fan of the way both resonators deleted sound. Did you ever find any good places to listen to a single one removed?

I live near Austria so I was considering the Remus. However if you look how badly and ghastly the welds are - this is by far not worth it, especially the insane price tag. Where others are nicely mandrel bent - the Remus exhaust is made from tons of welded pieces. Their motorcycle exhaust systems are nice and good quality - but the Kona N exhaust looks like some Remus employee`s brother was experimenting in the garage at home. Pathetic
