In episode 2, we sat down with former professional hockey player Kelsey Tessier who's just recently returned to Moncton, the town where he grew up, following his retirement from a very successful hockey career playing for a host of teams in Europe
Kelsey is also remembered in the Greater Moncton community for his role with the Moncton Wildcats during the 2009-10 season where the team won the franchise's 2nd President's Cup. He was also drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2008, and spent 3 seasons playing for the Connecticut Whale in the AHL.
We sat down Kelsey to discuss, for obvious reasons, his pro hockey career and reasons for going to Europe rather than staying in the AHL and trying his luck at cracking the Rangers in the NHL. We were also able to talk about his most recent return to the Moncton Wildcats as part of the coaching staff, and were pleasantly surprised to hear that he is getting involved in the construction industry!
