He know his stuff, but he also knows how to sell... they always make it as dramatic as possible so they can justify the premium, takes one to know one ;)
True, when he asked that the first thing I thought of was he should start his own channel and show everything he does to repaint the car and I will instant sub to it.
Tavarish: *buys a huge new garage/ shop with many acessories, buys a gallardo, a murcielago, a F355 and a ton of expensive parts.* Somehow still isn't bankrupt Love this guy :D
Painting can be learned, but the great painters are born with that skill. The gray door looked AMAZING! Can't imagine what it will look like after it's cut & buffed. The Lambo will look awesome when it's done. Excellent choice in shops.
interesting to see a local companies brand on this channel. i happen to live near a tiny village in the netherlands were this sikkens stuff is/was produced :D
Glad you're getting an expert to help with the paint. You'll get a nice paint job and a great learning experience too! Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
I love working on cars. Love to see step by step with the painting .. Don't matter who you are you can always learn from someone else even if it is a small thing.
This dude constantly reminds me of Gabriel Iglesias aka (fluffy) .. with this mexican accent ..😅😀😉 But he seems very professional about that painting job 👍🏼 I think your car is in very good hands 👌🏻
I used to do a lot of body work but itsbeen over 20 years since the last one I did. Now the materials have changed so much I wouldn't even hardly know what to ask for when going to paint supply stores. The actual applying of the paint is only a few hours to do, it's the prep work that takes so long but that's what makes the actual top costs look so good is the hours and hours of prep. Looking foreward to watching in detail the materials currently being used.
Thank goodness for Tavarish! I was having withdrawals and now I got my fix. Wait a minute. 20k for a paint job. Dang! I know it's going to look amazing, but was surprised. I was thinking 10k.
I would imagine that the paint is expensive plus it was a full body paint job. Including jams and the engine bay. Now if you see Any yellow... 😂 Hell yeah he got ripped off
My thoughts exactly, I was thinking 8-10k, but 20k is a way overboard, and thats apparantly a huge discount. It's definately because of the type of car, i can't imagine a regular car like a honda civic even with a show car quality paint job being more than 10k
@@redeemedheathen the reason being is probably because of how bad the paint is already. I wouldn't be surprised if they had to bring this thing all the way to bare metal
I was thinking 15k but since they are doing so much body work and probably have to strip A LOT of paint I think 20k is probably fair. I have a feeling they’re going to be working on all the panels.
The answer the questions.. Everything. All of it. I took autobody in college and theres nothing you can't learn. There's always something new to learn, is what I'm saying. I personally would like to see the Why/How it costs so much to paint a car. If I lived in Florida I'd humbly ask to intern with this guy and learn a few things. This guy is genuinely good it sounds like. Can't wait for the autbody/paint vidoes!
Hey, I am watching from Germany and here people are crazy about their cars as you know. It would be great if you´ll feature that paint job very etailed. Especially because its such a special -and maybe difficult - car to paint. But also because the painter is such a great and eloquent guy. So thumbs up!
hi from the UK Tavarish i would like to see all of the above as well my friend it would be nice to see what goes in a good paint job keep up the good work :)
Man if I still lived in Orlando I'd be using this guy for my paint jobs... it's clear that he loves and knows his business. Love seeing guys like that who love their job.
get ready to pay 20k for paint job i'm from middle east and we have company here called AM GE and they paint everything they work on everything interiors painting with original paint and doesn't worth 40 k for that job restoring and wraping whole car puting new interior in cars they do lot of things here and it's just cost 5000 $ to 10000 $ it depends what car you have everything costs that much not just painting car full restoration of interior and body kits plus alcantara beautiful interior just check this out all of this for 10k ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oSMlxCIByMk.html
ALL. this is the detailed series I've been waiting for. Paint and body work. Like you said freddy I can take apart what makes it work and fix it all day. But when it comes to how it looks I'm lost lol
Juan seems to know his stuff. So many body shops that won't even touch this kind of vehicle. Also you get ones that like he said cut corners by using multiple vendors.. Nice gun finish :)
A great shop can do that in 8 days pretty easy. Problem is they look super busy, prob wont touch it for a week. That's a great sign. You don't want to go to a paint shop that's not busy or in demand. Auto Explosion in Cali is just as good.
Very excited to learn more about all the steps invloved in the painting process! Going to be painting one of my vehicles soon and would love to learn some more pro tips! Thanks!
Pls make this a mini-series. Pls film all the steps and steps you can. This painting session really turned to a whole different level and we really wanna see it. The owner is a guy who takes no shortcuts and really wanna give you a perfect paint job. P.s maybe you could also get help in painting and detailing the inside of the car.
I am just amazed how much more expensive a job or part is just because it has name of some exotic car on it. For $40k, that better be a concours d'elegance winning paint job.
Def love to see step by step of paint prep etc... maybe take the trims and vents etc away now and practice on them as they are black and fairly hidden!
This is the video I've been waiting for. Come on and please show us what it takes and step by step process to repainting and preping a car that has been completely screwed with on its paint by a cheap ass paint job. Please make more vids on this. That would be fantastic information to obtain. I think everyone feels this way not just i. Can't wait for the next video. Thanks 🖒can't wait to see it restored to a beautiful car.
Juan knows his shit! Awesome dude! Cant wait to see the resault! This is gonna be guuuud! I'm still angry at the movie bois that ruined this thing... its such a waste, so terrible... :( ...hope they hit their toes in something hard eveery day of their lives forever and ever! :o
That is the beautiful thing about the story of this Lambo. And this is way Color Recon is getting involved on this project. Trust me is a big challenge the cameras dont make justice on how bad this Orange paint job is....Is like Niagara Fall meet The Fish Eyes Monster on the dirt and hail storm . Is Hacked really bad on every inch on the body..
Can’t wait to see the results from someone actually passionate about their work. Additionally, I would think a huge time saver would be a quick scuff with a DA, then use paint stripper to get it down to bare metal
Classic time lapse videos of the wetsanding overlayed with funky tunes please and thank you!! Obviously with the 2-5 minutes of technical jargon talk beforehand. I’m curious how much weight saving removing these multi layers could have hahaha
Juan, my 1995 sunburst yellow Mazda MX5 had parts repainted. In sunlight the shades of yellow were pretty close but in the garage under TL-tubes the differences between the shades of yellow really stood out. How does this happen when paint is blended to the manufacturer color code.
when somebody is willing to take their time and show how a $40k, who will say no. im all out for it. its gonna be a treat for the ocd, seeing the movie car turn into a showcar
