Quick tip. Put magnet against shaft of screwdriver. Makes fitting screws in glovebox easier

Finally one thats comparable to me when running wires/leads in a car....i do exactly the same... Open panels as needed .....excellent....A+++ i would trust u to install stuff in my vehicle. That T20 "star" is a Torx bit 😀

Hi Nick, I have a 2011 Volvo XC60. I want to install the Apple car play kit you liked the best. It was the 3rd one installed. Can you tell me the name of the kit, model number, anything I can use to find this kit. Also, I want to connect a rear camera to this kit and have the camera show up on the screen, can that be done?

Dear Nick, I‘ve just saw your two videos regarding the installations of the rear and front camera as well as the one for the Apple Car Player. I‘ve the same Volvo as you just from the year 2010 and would be interested on these two products but I don‘t know where to buy them and from which manufacture they are. That‘s why I hope that you read my message and help me on this where to get these products online. Did you bought them in the UK? I‘ve also an other question regarding the Apple Car Player. When this is connected, may I still use my GPS Car System (there’s a box to load the maps DVD’s) that came with the car when I bought it or has the Apple Car Player its own maps? When I use a USB audio Device with my mp3‘s saved on it, can I select/choose the albums to play or is it just playing automatically without have the possibility to scroll between the albums folders or titles? How do the display shows and how to change to USB Device to listening to the music, using the AUX button in the car or would I be able to choose between AUX and USB? I found a completely Apple Car Player that could interest you too, and it fits all Volvo‘s XC60 from 2009-2017. I would be great to have a video for this installation too. What after market kit did you use for your Apple car play and android auto? Would like to see if I can source a similar kit?

Do you have to have the sensus connected touch system or would it also work on the older sensus system without the internet connection (no button on control panel)?

Will watch the video again later but can this be installed without the reversing camera kit. I have a early 2015 identical to yours including colour and trim. Almost 70k miles just had one big recent expense when the heater fan motor packed in. Complete dash out job which scared me so I took to a Volvo specialist.

Bought unit from ebay. Was 199€ + 11€ shipping from Spain. Only one thing I'm concerned about is my backup camera. If I will keep original TFT panel, then I can feed video through rgb input directly to RTI. But I'm going to swap out original TFT to 800*480pix one with different avr controller. I know RTI receives video from PAC, that's OK. Only dynamic trajectory probably is coming via CANBUS

So does this allow you to still use Sensus like normal? I need it for the Harmon Kardon settings and adjusting My V60 settings like ESC On/Off? And do you have a model # for this I want to try to track it down in the US

The only thing i'm thinking is why install the front and rear cam kit when you could have a camera connect via the apple play kit. ok features would be more basic that's all.
