I grew up in church. Struggled from psychological abuse. Even the pastor said I was cursed. Lived with the hurt for years. "Lord I know that u will handle with care, every heart that's been hurt and in need of repair." Thank u Jesus.

I was invited to a pentecostal church 40 years ago this month and David and the giants were playing there. That's where I met them. I was coming out of a horrible abusive relationship with my x and I had three small children to raise. And didn't know how I was going to do this on my own since I left this man. But when I Heard this song it touched me so deeply. And when I looked into David 's eyes I could see hope! And a love and dependence on Christ Alone!!! Thank you David and the giants for you example of Christ.

THANK YOU for uploading this video! I have been searching for this song for a long time. I first heard it sung in the church where I was saved in 1993. Since I was a new Christian, I was deeply touched by the lyrics. I'm sure it had been more than ten years since I heard this song sung or played -- until I found this video. The melody and lyrics never get old!

i'm 48 years old and disabled now.....Back when i was able to do stuff i saw David and the Giants in concert in Bham, AL at the Cathedral of the Cross Church....I rededicated my life to Jesus that night....I had a huge collection of Christian music on cd and had 8 of David and the Giants cds at the time we took a trip to Disney World. My car was broken into and my stereo system was stolen along with the case that contained 120 christian cds. I want to get all of the D and G cds back if possible
I met these guys at that concert in bham, Al. They talked to me like they had known me all their lives...Such a down to earth bunch of guys that really love the Lord...They have been a major influence in my Walk with the Lord...I really want to get ALL OF DAVID AND THE GIANTS CD'S BACK!!!! WOULD ALSO LOVE A LIVE DVD IF THEY HAVE ONE AVAILABLE

It was at WNCI/Columbus, OH where the song broke. The song then got airplay in a smattering of markets. I was on the air in Jackson, MS at the time. We played it a lot.

I love these dudes! I saw them in 93' @ The U of A amphitheater and gosh they blessed me so much being there. Thanks for posting this song, really. What are these guys up to now days? Are they still singing? Phenomenal group; God really used these guys in ministering to so many :)
Many years ago a lady (don't know who she was) paid for this particular band to travel to San Antonio Texas to perform at Brackenridge Park, I was one of a handful of people who was there. This lady was so in love with the lord and wanted the same for others ❤ she stood by the street and tried desperately to draw people to the concert, unfortunately her pleas to the people fell on deaf ears, I took my neice with me, now my neice preaches the word of God. To God be ALL THE GLORY ❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
I wish I had had occasion in my life to meet those types of Christian people. I always seem to run into the prickly ones for whom the real me is never good enough. I can't believe I am being so frank and under my own name! This song soothes my soul when all else fails...and all else usually always fails.

I write novels, short stories and poetry. I have only ever been published by someone officially on the net. A friend in Colorado really liked one of my poems and made a webpage on his site for it. Other than that I have never been published, but I write because I really enjoy it. So I encourage you to keep going with the talents that God has blessed you with. He doesn't give us our talents so that we can simply sit on them. You'll do well, peanutboy :)
