I could never get one of these birds because their lifespan is similar to ours in length, which means the bird may not only out live me but also his next owner after me! These birds form strong bonds and are a lifetime commitment, they don't do well with second and third owners, especially when they are getting the bird after a parent or sibling dies. I have watched a family member die and then her beloved bird make the rounds within the family because he was such a handful and no one could invest the time needed to take care of it...so for me I just think it would be selfish to buy one this late in my life. But maybe I could foster one or adopt
one amazing parrot..he must feel loved and it good spirits...i have macaws, they do get talking but this guy is a one man show..thanks for sharing him , RT7

Hey Brenda, Does Riley do animal noises? Kumar just learned puppy says "Woof", piggys says "Snort snort" and the kitty says "Meow". He is actually making the snorty noise, I am going to try to catch it on video this week!

Sher Pink The Artist I am a male, but it's fine. I'm pretty sure our two eclectus birds (male and female) are from the Solomon Islands. ( But I don't live there)
