Can you do me a small favor?! The next time you're shopping for a vehicle, can you click on the LINK below for a “FREE VEHICLE QUOTE BY ZIP CODE”? It’s 100% free for you but each time you use this service, I receive small affiliate commission from dealerships that send you quotes. Again, it’s 100% free and you’re under NO OBLIGATION to buy anything, it’s just a small way in which you can help support my channel. Thank you! Here's the link: www.carshowdetroit.com/everymandriver/
Thanks, that helps out a lot. I am looking at a pre-owned 16 model. I like your videos, they can save a test drive or help to make you more informed for the test drive.
Sorry, but it just has too many offensive angles, no matter which way you look at it. Fugly comes to mind. But as always, great review Dave. Very informative. Love your reviews!
This seems a little extraneous given that you already did a full review on essentially the same car a year ago, except with the 5MT. If you could choose which trim level for the overview (and I'm guessing you could because you're at a car dealership), it would have been more useful to do at least an SV.
You're telling me that when you simply could have Googled it? And rather than wasting time replying to both of my comments you could have Googled it much faster? You're the lazy one here, sorry.
Yikes, you can buy a base model Kia Soul for roughly the same price, and get more horsepower, a much better looking interior and dash and twice the amount of FLAT cargo space. Nissan isn't exactly known for its reliability either.
Keep in mind the Kia Soul uses 25-32% (city-highway) more fuel to cover the same distance, due to its terrible aerodynamics; that's a lot more you'll be spending on gas.
I'm simply going by EPA ratings. That's worth something at least, whereas surprising anecdotal evidence and claims without data by someone trying to justify his purchase aren't.
Zeckul MPG and reliability are not anecdotal. If you have done your homework you would know this. Reports by people who evaluate cars for a living will confirm how gutless, and the poor build quality of Versa' s are, and countless reports of people who own them will show that they are not well built(cheap) and have reliability issues. incidentally JD Powers has rated the Souls as one of the most reliable cars currently on the market. Hardly anecdotal evidence.
Nissan's have always been known for cheap looking interiors. They do have great engines though. I would save your money though and go buy a 2016 Honda Civic LX for $18k than this.
