The reverse- understanding love and men is equally difficult. We were created to be different. It’s not a bad thing but sometimes a challenge- our hearts and egos are involved. It hurts sometimes. No one likes that- man or woman. Thank goodness for the human race there are people who want to do it.

Rabbi, I was raised catholic and I dont think there is similar wisdom in my close circle as the majority of the things you say. I have either validated a lot of my own personal experience, or have learned a lot from watching you. Especially in marriage. To add to your point, once a man has the conviction that he is perfect and acts in theat same order, good women will come to him without him even asking for it. Man should work on developing his convictions and then once he has them, work on never act opposite of them. Women will come, money will come, good things will come. You just need to make sure your convictions are well grounded in truth and wisdom. thank you so very much!

As a Catholic, priests are celebate unmarried, nuns celibate unmarried, so presents a question as to which life to lead. Some of us plain chicken and never marry, a most unfulfilling life, but many opting to do so in modern times when women can work, support themselves and not be subjected to abusive husbands. Men should be loving, kind, respectful as women should be. Find each other, marry and a blissful and rewarding life together, the ideal as G~d has planned.

I think the answer to your questions is another question: what do you expect from marriage? From what you say, your question is whether you can truly love, so it has nothing to do with marriage (and you don't lose hope in anything, to begin with), you see? The answer is in you?
@ary-shalom8356
@ary-shalom8356 Год назад
@@fernandomelli9395 Thanks. It’s food for thought. I don’t know what to expect from marriage because I have never been married, but I would like: companionship, partnership, a best friend, romance, to create a family. To answer the other questions; perhaps because I don’t totally accept myself with all my flaws it’s hard for me to fully accept others. So, no, I don’t believe we “love” people just the way they are. Sounds Pathetic?
@Vlad-bs1js
@Vlad-bs1js Год назад
@@ary-shalom8356 After giving it some thought, I think that I like women for who they can be, not necessarily who they are, and end up loving them if I see that they're willing to try to become my ideal version of them, regardless of how much they succeed in doing so (it's all about the effort). I know that this may sound like a selfish view, but this is something that I would reciprocate. If anything, I would to be the one who initiates "the change" because I believe a healthy relationship, be it romantic or otherwise, is one in which all the involved parties are actively and consciously trying to make each other's lives better. As for what to expect from marriage, I don't see why it should be any different to a relationship that you're taking seriously. At the end of the day, it's just a formal way of declaring your commitment and it shouldn't change anything.
