See what happens when I cancel a floor on a Schindler 5500 elevator when there are no other calls to serve. Only works on Asian/China made Schindler 5500 though.

And before any of my fellow North American folks attempt this, know that our version of the 3300 and 5500 also don't have double-tap cancel.

They also use this trick to access Restrict,Staff,locked floors

Yep, I once tried that trick on a Hyundai elevator. It may not work in certain elevator brands.

3000, 3300, 5400 AP, 5500 and 5000, but they're all the Asia Pacific variant manufactured in China.

Only works on Asian/China made Schindler 3300, 3000, 5400, 5500 and possibly 5000 elevators. It's very common here in Asia having car cancel feature on elevators.

@leonpano Negative, it doesn't work on European Schindler 5500. And this particular elevator is in Indonesia, where all Schindler 5500 were shipped from China.
