👋 After 7 months of owning my 2023 Toyota GR86, it's time to go over that ownership experience so far! This is a car that I have always wanted to own and see what it's like to drive. It has been a very fun affordable sportscar to drive! The two biggest things that I like about this Toyota is the looks and how it drives! The Toyota GR86 is one of the best handling sportscars today. That's right! For a mere $30K, you can buy one of the best handling cars available! This sportscar weights under 3K pounds and handles phenomenally!
This is also an easy car to modify! I have done the key modifications to this car to make it sound better, handle even better and gives it slightly more power! There's even more modifications that I haven't done to really liven it up more!
For the Toyota GR86 there are two trims available, the base or premium. Just depends on what features you want. It is a basic car overall, but I would call this a true drivers car! It has the tech you want to daily drive, and that's it! Very easy to use what's available.
For the list of things I like and don't like, that's a very short list as you saw. So this is a car that I would highly recommend if you want a practical sportscar, you don't want to spend a lot of money, and you want to have fun!
This is also a great entry level sportscar or great first car! You can buy an automatic as well, but this is a great car to learn how to drive a manual as well!
You really can't go wrong with the Toyota GR86! It's also a great entry car to buying the Toyota GR Supra afterwards if you want that power, you still want a manual and continue to drive a sportscar to give you the smiles per gallon!
