I’ve been to Cuba many times, but I’ve always been hesitant to try going in the off-season. This video was very revealing. The service levels there are much better than I expected. I think you made the right choice in going to a smaller resort - it’s probably much easier to still have a little bit of everything operational when they don’t have to spread the staff out over a larger area. I’m definitely going to put Tuxpan on my short list for our next trip!

Glad to hear that! I really enjoy small resorts where you don't have to walk miles to reach the beach, pools, and restaurants. Also, the off-season is great to avoid crowds.

Hello! I have been going to tuxpan with my parents since I was four years old and it’s a rather small hotel but the people are wonderful there :) we are coming back in a few months time and I’m very excited! Tuxpan is the way to go when you want a small hotel and has been around for a long time but is an amazing place

I love Cuba 🇨🇺 so much I have been going twice a year for at least 10 years and I remember the first time going to Varadero around 1990 and the Tuxpan hotel was already there ! 🏖️😎

Can you recommend an all inclusive resort for a solo traveler? Looking for great beach and great food, and clean room. Thanks in advance! There's so many resorts and so many reviews, its overwhelming :)

@@jasonsymes2127 hello thanks for your question, I just came back from a solo trip to Varadero in October and I went to the Iberostar Bella Vista resort and I loved it. I had the star prestige suite with ocean views and in my opinion it’s totally worth it to upgrade to star prestige as you get a private restaurant on the top floor with amazing views and a bar as well. My room was very clean and very big and well decorated, the food was quite good and the beach and pools excellent. I will absolutely go back to this hotel it’s my favourite I tried so far.

The video was so spontaneous that I didn't even think about that. But there rooms are just regular, nothing special, it's a room to sleep. I'd say always the front desk to give you a good room. They know if a room is good or bad
