They may not have the funds to buy any house since they have been through difficult times. Living on a boat is not for me, but they are living their dream.

I live in South Florida and the price of homes and rentals have gone sky high. It’s very expensive here. Northern Florida is still reasonable. Good luck and many blessings to you and your family. 🙏🏻😊
Hi Antonella. So sorry that you have been experiencing bad weather conditions. The weather has been awful all over the US. Stay safe. Please research the Bahamas before sailing to them. There has been documented that there is too much crime and not safe to visit. We are soon approaching hurricane season and the Gulf of Mexico is predicted to suffer most of the bad hurricane this season. I am so concerned about you and Chris's safety. FYI Florida rentals are sky-high. Prices increased enormously in the last year. The Gulf Coast of FL has beautiful sand and waters. Reminder: Hurricane season starts in 1 1/2 months. Please plan accordingly!!❤❤
Ugh, don't remind me. We are in the Biloxi area I can hear the jetskies out my front door after Hurricane Katrina I have always had such great fear of hurricane season.

I’ve lived in NC, SC, and FL ( Tampa Bay Area ) Georgia is ok except for the Atlanta area - traffic and crime in Atlanta ) I loved Charlotte but it’s gotten expensive and crowded. Asheville is great but remote. Sarasota area is a great place for you to visit, boating up & down the W Coast is the place. I live in an area of St Pete, Gulfport, hippie but getting $$. Lots of job opportunities though. Good luck!

Also wanted to say that mom and I are originally from Ohio, moved down here November 5,1995 and have been pleased with it here even though for many years mom has mentioned about going back to Ohio and I said I wasn’t going back cause I love the weather here and also am no longer a fan of cold weather and snow too. I’m disabled and in a wheelchair and I honestly never felt like I had fit up North even though I was born and raised there. I right away felt like I belonged in Florida and yes, people would state at me like they all did up in Ohio when I’d be at a store or the Mall but I was over that after living here for at least 30 yrs now cause I’ve never had a problem with people down here. Very kind to me and no, I don’t think they were feeling sorry for me either. It could have been my positive attitude that people liked and they genuinely wanted to be nice. So, it is all how you make your life no matter where you are. I feel that nothing happens by accident and that everything happens the way it is suppose to and how we deal with those situations is a test to see just how strong we can be or have become after certain situations in our lives. Suggest looking into where younger professional people want to live, that is where she would probably be most happy. It would be nice to see you spend some time on FL west coast with your boat.

Something to consider in regards to living in FL - I find the price of groceries much higher than PA. Also, the car insurance is more expensive. We own a second home in FL and we’re lucky to have insurance and it’s sky high. Lots of development going on in FL. The summers are brutal.
Your adventure sounds great to me a lot of hard work but also you can go so many places. Homes as you know are so much work and expense and you don’t get to move around when you get bored and want a new experience. I wish hope all good look an I received my order from her and it is lovelyI gave her an excellent review and couldn’t believe it got here so fast.
