Track mode turns off traction control only half way. Btw u can turn on tc in any mode. You can turn it all the way off by holding it down for 5 seconds. And as for the killer chiller, car doesn’t need it. It just adds more weight. It’s a track car Ron. Not like a hc where it’s short burst in a straight line. Track cars see a shit load more heat than a straight line car. It has coolers on the front and sides so there’s little to no heat soak. It can be hot lapped all day long and it’ll perform the same. A secret to cooling it faster is to turn the a/c on cold and max and while you drive the heat exchanger cools the coolant even quicker. The faster u go the cooler it’ll get bc there’s more cold air being forced into the cooling system

I actually like the interior. The upgraded sound system is pretty damn good. I had a 21 Supra before this and the interior was ok and the sound system SUCKED and you cant really upgrade it...

yea i always hated how it had the 2015 head lights and 2018 and up tail lights that always threw me off and i am sad they dont have ambient lighting in the gt500s and i look foward to the new mustang design because with the interior they said they was stuck between new school and old school but with the s650 they said they wanna go all out on new stuff for interior make it alot more modern but hands down ima ford guy and ill take the gt500 over the redyes and zl1 any day but i gotta say with all the bandwangon dodge guys out there im happy you make us mustang guys look good

You shouldn’t let a high performance car go too low because the fuel pump uses the fuel itself to cool down. In the end of the day you want the most fuel as possible , it’s physics a full tank will flow better overall than an empty one that needs more amperage to make the pump pump

To its credit, the interior is so much better than my 12 Gt500, which I wish I still had. My biggest complaint is the exhaust. I'm going to delete the exhaust contraption. It's all or nothing. Beautiful car man!

Traction control isn't all they way off in track mode it's mostly off. You have to hold the Traction button down for like 5 seconds to turn it all the way off. But maybe the GT500 is different.

They used 15-17 headlights because they flowed with the GT500 bumper and it’s aerodynamic purpose. It wasn’t because they didn’t have access to 18+ headlights yet. And I personally think 15-17 headlights look better than 18+, so I’m happy they went this route instead.

I came across your older video and have to ask. If the interior is such an important part of your owning a car. Then buy an Underpowered Hyundai Sonata limited. I completely disagree with your assessment of the GT500s interior. Your driving an amazing Shelby GT500 Mustang and your complaining about the interior, vehicle weight and the traction control settings. Who uses traction control when racing. So why did you purchase the Shelby. Obviously you don't appreciate what the car was built for which is Performance and Handling. If weights an issue for drag racing. For starters remove the rear seat, passenger seat and any other misc items from your trunk. First time viewing your site and possibly the last. Please buy that ordered Hellcat and sell your GT500 to someone that will appreciate it and understands a performance Sports cars. The Hellcat is a straight line muscle car while the GT500 is a Sport Car. Look on the factory window sticker and you'll find the GT500 classified as a Sports Car. Car & Driver summed up the GT500. *The most immersive Mustang ever, surprisingly easy to live with, performance numbers that rival exotics. FYI. Exotics includes Porsches, Ferraris, etc..*

Don’t let it go to 1/4. You’re burning the fuel pumps by making them work harder and you can clog the injectors over time with shitty gas bottom particles, dirt and grit. Convert the car to E85 flex. It burns cleaner and cleans injectors as well as raises HP. I’m a Ford mechanic and build twin turbos for the GT350R’s. I convert all my builds to E85 flex.

What's wrong with it is an Automatic Transmission, if a GT350 2020 ( its last year in production), and the 2022 GT500. Withe same price let say $65,000 each I'm buying the one with the Manual Transmission. 🙋👍🏎🏁

This body style looks far better than the newer body style in my opinion...like specially the headlight section... Agreed on interiors....my C7 Z06 with Z07 and 3LT trim feels far more premium but again that car is MSRP $117k compared to 82k MSRP for my 2021 GT500 (now yeah the markup made me pay $90k)

I just got a Mazda 3 Premium Plus Turbo AWD and the MAZDA interior is much nicer than this car. Plus the exterior styling on the Mazda is nice too. It’s cost about $37k. This car costs over $100k. But I guess you get what you pay for? Here you’re getting a bad ass presence and lots of HP.. (you’ll get more looks and you’ll feel cool.).

Maybe what you're looking for is a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing? Really, the ONLY complaint I have about my '21 GT500 is the gas mileage.

This isn’t a $100k car. It’s a $72k car because that’s what the price is prior to adding the extra features that bring it closer to $100k that have no effect on the car what so ever. Those additions have nothing to do with the interior. So with that in mind. $72k is $16k more than a fully loaded GT which is basically the difference in price of the blower, bigger engine, and suspension upgrades. And lastly “track mode” is made for the “track”. Traction control isn’t supposed to be on.

pricing typically ranges from 72 to 79 thousand. Anything over paid is markup for idiots. So basically a supercar for under 80 is pretty damn good. If you truly want the super interior that does nothing for performance then spend the money and get that 100 to 200 thousand dollar car.. Fancy interiors don't win on the street or the track.. Its the engineering and drivers that win. Also who the hell puts Sam's club gas in a car that requires TOP TIER GAS....
