I just wanted to thank you for your Knobcon coverage. I normally go to this event every year but this year I had a work conflict. I was having some major FOMO but your vids made me feel almost like I was there. Oh and I totally agree about the community aspect of Knobcon. It feels like you went to Synth Camp for the weekend. I tell people I just lose track of my real life for 3 days. Such a great feeling. Thanks for the reminder.

I had such an excellent time at Knobcon! I saw you all over the place but you looked very busy, so I just let you do your thing. I completely agree with everything you said in the video. I have been to much bigger conventions, like Comicon, and this was the sweetspot between too small and too big. It was so much fun to just bask in the glory of synths while youtubers I watch on the regular walk past me. Hope to catch you next year!

@toskabyss awesome! I love that you're back, your vids were always an inspiration to me. When buying gear for Knobcon my girlfriend/camerawoman was like "let's just get this cheap gimbal off Amazon" and I was like "no fucking way - it's gotta be a zhiyun gimbal because that's how intrnlcmd does it" and I'm sure glad I did! 🤣

Really great to meet you both there! Big shout out to your Videographer/Photography expert as well! To your point, its great to talk ideas with like minded individuals - There might be a cool game that comes up soon called "D.I.M. (Does it Matter) which is a stunning idea for a boardgame, it takes sci-fi trivia (yes - real world knowledge) and pins it with additional trivia along the process to include a group for an excellent game night. Great idea, Great game. Looking forward to enjoying it with friends alike!

The Andy Ortmann set reminds me of a patch I made on my MS20 Mini back in college (before I swapped it for an original) where I managed to create this noise patch where you would turn on the MS20 and it would just go and change on occasion. My plan was to go on a stage with that and a chair, turn on the synth, and then sit in the chair the rest of the set.
Hi there! Great video! A small request, please do not force the additional subtitles. I have a friend that is deaf and this causes issues where two sets of sub titles overlay on top of each other and make it unreadable. Thanks!
Okay - will do. I wanted to have a little more control over the subtitles than the auto generated ones by RU-vid, but in the future I won't do that. Hopefully your friend can simply disable the auto generated subtitles by RU-vid. Thank you for letting me know
Can i put 10 likes for the last comment alone (aka beringer) , as a youtuber (disliking this term) , a professional producer and educator , some videos made wanna write some stuff that would have dragged me to the same low level ....so decided to become silent , because i have an education ..... By the way your "voice over " is superb , i might hire you some day lol ;) PAssion really transleted in your video , typically the people i would stay with all day , going in hotel and can't wait to meet next day again ;)
