THe thing is, they don’t fucking care about your opinion. They get payed, look good, travel and troll idiots like you by saying they are natural. Why the fuck do y’all think they care about your opinions? 😂
In my honest opinion, ive achieved kinda his physique after 10+ years lifting. So dont anyone try to say im just jealous but ive been training so muxh and hes more vascular and bigger hes just idk. I think the worst he is on is sarms but thats only after the strength, huge bias here because im a david laid fanboy
yeal lmao, "hard gainer with an ecto structure" > eats one pancake and a plate of pasta for dinner and he's near classic physique levels of shredded muscle mass, which by the way, are also at the top of the genetic pyramid and they eat 3400+ calories a day while taking roids... mhhhhhh something may be fishy here
The biggest red flag for me was always that he trained 6x a week with ridiculously high volume and intensity while not sleeping or eating at all. And then making insane gains despite all that. Naturals don't recover like that.
People saying he’s backstabbing or jealous, he’s calling someone out for lying to a massive fanbase and giving false expectations to young impressionable people getting into the gym. If anything he’s a good friend for giving him the opportunity to reclaim his dignity
P101swagg He actually does lie in his QnA video where he says “it was never worth it to me.” You can tell he’s lying because he licks his lips right before saying it. Common for people who are lying.
I've been working out since I was in my early 20s (47 now), and I find it sad, in a way, to see all the young guys at the gym deluding (and polluting) themselves with steroids. There are so many users these days, it's disturbing. People who don't work out much often don't know the reality of things; they just think 'some people work harder at the gym than others' and are 'dedicated', and they have no clue that gear is involved. But when I see people pack on significant amounts of lean muscle with superhero-like proportions in a couple of months, I know something's up. It's often those same people who I see with very light weights, and not even using full range of motion. It's amazing what gear can do to the human body. Nobody seems to realize (or care) about their inherent dangers, either...Ah well... they'll learn in the end. I have a few friends who learned the hard way (one no longer with us).
Just simply isnt true, if you dont abuse the substances they can be very useful in building muscle, if cycle properly and perform PCT then you will most likely be fine.
@@tobyjohn4682 people make the joke when someone is a fake natural ''he is a natural as rich piana'' atleast rich was a hard worker i respect him for being honest, but these juicy teenagers dont have a clue how to build muscle naturally they would still be skinny without roids
@adi XZ That's the point. Laid mogs Philion all day. No one cares how much you lift. They care about your appearance as a whole. Philion looks like your standard Mcdefault 5/10. David is a 9. No one cares about David's gear usage in the real world. As long as he isnt a dick people will feed into whatever he pedals
ProjectLDV Yeah ur right but the reality is if one wants to achieve such a physique and are willing to follow his fitness programs not knowing that HE MAY have used gear to achieve such a physique, then it just throws everything off and misleads the general public believing that they can obtain this physique naturally in the same time frame and everything. That’s what matters.
Hell no! But if you are buy from a trustworthy source. And if you buy anavar for $40 bucks... those are just sugar pills. Anavar goes for around 2000-$3000 hope this helps
Brandon P I guess there are some but as far as I know anavar is super expensive to make. Not that I took or will ever take any of that shit. I did but clen but oral and my friend tested it and it was just sugar lol
He’s calling out a friend for lying to his mass following to grow his brand... If anything he’s a good friend for giving David a chance to reclaim his dignity. Did you not watch the video?
Darkness :d sure you would, if your goofy friend had a fine girlfriend and she threw herself at you than you'd give her herpes and she'd give you crabs
First they aren’t friends, they worked out together once. Also he’s selling a false and unhealthy image to his massive following, while lying about being natural. Nice guy or not, David is a dick for that
Doctor can give you TRT if you have too low testosterone. You can lower your testosterone by many things, like zinc defficiency, vitamin D defficiency, magnesium defficiency, overtraining, undereating and undersleeping.
It's not right to make a video about a friend you know PERSONALLY and post it ONLINE....... Yes, it's just stating facts, but where is the common decency???? Make a video about it, but just don't say his name/expose who the person that you are using as an example. It's shady. Plus, it's his body. He can do whatever he pleases with it. No need to shame him for it because it's nobody else's business. If he gets health problems in the future from the use of steroids, then oh well. That's him.
It's not complicated even though genetically some people will have more muscle than others the basic physiological rules of diminished returns still apply. Like in that video I did over how much muscle you can build naturally I covered both the average person AND the genetic elite. So people who think you can build pounds upon pounds of muscle year after year and stay at the same bf% are unfortunately ignorant of how the human body works. You nailed it with the message at the end though man.
+TheSwolefessor So you're incorrectly applying the rule of diminishing returns for muscle growth, which follow a logarithmic trend, to changes in tested ORM strength which do not, and are drastically impacted by a number of acute factors. You seem to be decently well informed and your video on somatotypes was on point, though a bit of a softball topic; so I'd expect a bit more intellectual rigor from you here.
Elliott Atwell you seem to have misread something. No where did I say anything about his strength. Strength has many factors involved which I've also gone over on my channel. Leverages, muscle insertions, neuromuscular efficiency, and so on. However, my point was that no matter how elite one's genetics are you cannot continuously build pounds and pounds of muscle year after year while staying at the same body fat naturally. It's physiologically impossible. We aren't talking about muscle mass individuals get from natural parts of growth such as puberty. Some people simply start off with more muscle mass than others. So it's not even based on "how big" someone is. The reality is that from RESISTANCE training alone there is only so much muscle you can build at a time. It's not even that you ever stop building muscle but due to the diminishing returns it gets to the point where you build so little each year it's not even anything noticeable. These are simple facts.
Elliott Atwell lol 1. you must not watch his content consistently 2. Actually pay attention to what someone is saying before you respond. 3. Even calling his video a soft ball topic was just to be condescending because what he covered in that video are things MOST people are unaware of.
He has some decent points man. If you've done or know anyone who's taken gear you know the traps/delts blow up like this kid is talking about. Compelling argument. Yes genetics and all that bs play into it but some things don't just happen naturally.
Dude... finally somebody who knows their shit. Same guys saying 'It's attainable with strict dieting and programming' are the same guys who buy into mike chang's towel workouts and kali muscle's street workout. Nice vid.
Jalal Saadat A 390 bench press + his physique is atainable with strict dieting and programming in 4-5 years. The questions of course raise whit these 50 pound pr's appear. This video shows loads of facts. Still no evidence.
Lulz you must have never been to commercial gym or even a PL gym dude has 1 in million genetics to not only look like that but also lift like that ,funny though how every YT out there is genetic freak
You can have bulks where you gain 4 pounds over a couple months and do a heavy cut for 10 days - 2 weeks. It's really not impossible for a natty to do this. If you're going from 6/7%-10/11% body fat range people aren't going to notice you putting on a bunch of fat even though you are.
Maybe this isn't much, but he does have a really high metabolism. I have the same problem, I "try" so hard to bulk up but no matter what i never gain any fat on my bulk, because of my metabolism. I also eat really healthy but i have to consume over 3500 calories daily just to hit a little bit of surplus with my lean body while gyming and i'm only 151 pounds at the moment. For people with freakishly high metabolisms it's easy to look lean year round, never once in my life have i ever not seen my 6 pack fully popping out, etc. And yes, lighting and angles are everything too you can't really go off of pictures or gym videos where the lighting is always great
Yes, you can look lean year round, but you're not going to gain drastic mass and strength in relatively short time like he does, by hitting a "little bit of surplus"
I really like how you're not biased by what other people think and that you really speak your mind without hating the dude. you're just popping out facts, while still appreciating what the dude's done natually. props man. loads of people could hate.
vitruvian physique? his video is retarded, people who are clearly on gear he says they are natural but just have 'the best 0.00001% genetics in the world', give me a break
It’s just hard to believe you can be that shredded and still be that strong. Most people would need to bulk up and lose that definition to become that strong
Tren is your friend, boosts your strength like no other, did a short cycle awhile back and my bench went up 50+ pounds without ever struggling on any set, and that's 3x8 not 1RM over 2 months.
jim halpert That argument is totally invalid, because Phil’s genetics, gear or not, are sooo inferior to Davids. Comparing to other people isn’t a good argument.
@@christycook4338 moron...are you a god who knows 100% davids genes are better? No you're just a kid who doesn't knownwhat steroids do to a human body. David's future is looking bleak, he will have heart problems, sterility, muscle atrophy and may end up in a wheelchair.
No bullshit-went to the gym year after year for about 4-5 year . Started at 155 pounds anorexic at 6.2..... by the end I was 220 pounds with about eight to 10% body fat. And I can totally relate being at your limit. And how much work it takes to maintain that physique. Cut off the gym complete. For over three years now. Finally lost all my gains. And started gym back up about three days ago. Let the grind began
@@nameohnezahlen took almost 3 years for the mental part to kick in, and about 2 years when my physique took a big hit matter of weeks, got a belly stretch marks and love handles when my body just gave up lol, but i stop bec i wasn't having fun or so anything the future from the gym tbh and had nothing to prove to anyone, and couldn't just half ass it just not me.
This dude went to his meet and greet as a fanboy and then made this video like they are friends lol, David is obviously not natural but this video is straight corny
Aljaž Jesen his physique looks unnatural but trust me when it comes to strength it is indeed achievable. I got a friend who is lifting for 3,5 years and he just hit 6 plates on deadlift 2 days ago. His physique is not even close to davids but he is big and almost as strong as dave with just 3,5years of lifting experience
Ofcourse his physique is unnatural. Natural people look shit. And our people evolves way to slow that we won't be able to reach that level of godliness for another thousand years without some sort of drugs
@@ryanjensen5897 It just takes time, years to get big and stay relatively shredded. You're never gonna look big if you cut down to really low body fat (
You don’t make strength gains that fast. The bench press example is a clear sign of no longer natty to me. I take pride on my bench and I’ve went from like 315 to 345 this year and I program and base my lifting around my Bench since that’s what I take most pride on. Bro spot on with this shit!
+oppermanfitness If you take pride in your bench, and program lifting around your bench................and only bench 345, it's abundantly clear that you either need to go back to the drawing board, or your perception of natural performance limits is severely skewed. Pressing strength is most greatly impacted by fluctuations in bodyweight since it is the least CNS dependent of the big 3. A 20 lb weight increase in fat, water, and glycogen can have drastic effects on pressing strength with absolutely no increase in muscle mass.
Brandon Boon if only the retarded kids could learn to train for themselves without any expectations... They would be so much happy and less stressful but well... Natural selection
I watched this when I was younger. I was 17 at the time and tried doing the work. I ended up gaining little muscle and actually getting a hamstring tear trying to compete with this. I gave up for a year and gained from 220 something to 264 pounds because my ego was so high and it took a massive toll on me. Im 5'8" so thats extremely unhealthy fat levels. Eventually I began studying how to grow, stretch, eat the right food and count my protien and carb and almost missed my B6 vitamins. Every other vitamins are very important too, I didnt think B6 existed yet lol. So after I hit 19 on I began wot workout at July 26th and over time I was eating the right foods and going to sleep hungry. Over 6 months I lost 65 pounds before the Outbreak happened and still have ways to go. Since the gyms are closed still the best I can do is lift water weights, eat less fats and shred the fat. I weight 200 currently with muscle tone finally revealing, I cant check my body fat levels yet but me and my family are noticing a lot of improvements. I cannot believe the amount of deception people can do with the use of steroids. IM 183 POUNDS BOIS AYYYY 10/7/2021
P.S. I do want to get in touch with you and make a video to share the full story on what I eat and the workout plans as soon as I can get a PC to do the video. I really want to shed light to the younger audience who are barely interested in lifting and looking at false idols. I dont want to poke fun but spread awareness where I nearly did something incredibly stupid to myself. See you in the future.
@steroidsR4losers are you they same guy from years ago? I swear to god I read your comments since 2010. Please dont tell me you spend 8 years of your life posting this shit on youtube?
yup just a few min ago I see someone claim they've been training for 7 MONTHS starting from 190 to 200+ . and david has been training for years longer then him in reality one you hit plateau it's getting harder to top it up. only steroids would help human genetic to break plateau.
Exactly, it is the 135 benchers who think that going from 340 to 390 in 3 months is the same as going from 135 to 185 in 3 months. It is called diminishing returns, any natural 300lb bencher knows that David Laid started blasting performance enhancing drugs.
Well said mate. Been at the gym since i was 16 and I'm 22 now. Went from 58kg to 88kg at 6'3. These deluded kids/adults who have just started seeing exponential growth within their first couple of months at the gym will realise their naivety one day. When i was younger i believed all of my fitness idols were natty. Now I don't look up to any physique and just focus on being the best version of myself.
Quentin Blake Seriously, why do guys give a shit about having a massive deadlift??? I never understood that. If you aren't competing in sports, there are less brutal, effective exercises for building strength. Deadlifts eventually fuck up your back too.
bigstink9 I could agree that there’s better work to tax ratio too drunk n lazy to remember the word but you won’t fuck up your back if you’re smart about it similar to how you won’t fuck up your shoulders benching if your retract the scapula
bigstink9 I just like deadlifts and squats to show off, otherwise I don’t do them. Regular bench I never touch, only standing and dumbbell press. Most people wonder how I make gains as easily as I do, and it’s by worrying about effectiveness of size building and specified muscle targeting over the generalized ‘good workout’ guide
Quentin Blake ok thatMs crazy, I used to lift at a gym with a massive dude who had lifted for ages when I was young. This guy was like 5'10 and the definition of massive, powerlifted at 93kg and looked like a god. Best triceps I've ever seen. He had a 675 deadlift. This dude was a fully grown man with years of powerlifting under his belt and clear genetic gifts, and he wasn't even David Laid shredded, and I think he could well have been on juice, although time and not having the interest to see what's achievable for my self make me not want to check. I just want to be able to muscle up and pick up chicks. Maybe squat heavyish and be athletic. Not interested in being the biggest and strongest. The point is, this absolute beast of a man who trained like 5x per week for hours and hours a day for years and was super competitive lifts as much as... 19 year old David Laid?
This was a solid video that I feel will wake some people up. I certainly don’t believe he’s natty now, when his skin starting looking like 2nd gear Luffy I kinda stopped believing he was natty. I do however believe his transformation was natty, and he was still natty from early 18 to mid 18 years of age.
Right at the beginning you see : He has super low body fat , but has huge shoulders and pecs . When you are at such a low body fat your body starts canibalizing muscle , but you can prevent that from happening by using steroids as show by David Laid
The sad thing is as you mentioned at the end the fitness industry is so big that you have to be on some form of steroids to be noticed. 90% of people are. There’s a rare 10% real nattys who gain a following but the majority have to resort to steroids to “blow” up. Really hope what you said at the end comes true. I’m also sick of fake nattys. Fitness industry has fallen so low 😓 shoutout to at least the ones who do steroids but admit it eg Skywalker, Andre Deiu etc.
I worked out for four years, almost every day. Longest break I had in those four years was two days max. I never lifted these numbers that easily. though my gym rat partner was on steroids two years into our workout routine, and he was able to lift crazy numbers easily.
but you CAN get that big and that shredded naturally (I'm referring to your initial comment here), you just can't maintain that year round and have steady strength gains (as you just said). Relax though man i'm just trying to have a conversation, no need to get defensive.
