In WW2 the Danes all came out wearing the Star of David when the Nazis came to take the Jews to their deaths. A very commendable gesture. Mrs. Rosa Larsen
Jews having to wear the yellow star was never introduced in Denmark because, when the Germans proposed it, the Danish King said he in that case would wear the first one. The Danish Jews were warned about the authorities' coming to take them away, and almost all of them were spirited away to neutral Sweden. This was a noble act of defiance against the German dehumanisation and genocide of the Jews. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Palestinians and is entirely irrelevant when it comes to dehumanisation and genocide of the Palestinians over almost a century by Jews come from abroad.
@@castelodeossos5042 Thank you for your explanation which is appreciated. I may be wrong but as I understand it, in 2005 the Jews were dragged out of Gaza by the IDF (I watched it on TV ), kicking and screaming having to leave their homes in order to make way for the Palestinians to live there. Billions were poured into the Gaza strip to help them but it seems Hamas and others built a whole city of tunnels underneath from which to attack Israel. They could have turned the place into a paradise. But it seems the goal has been the destruction of the Jewish state. Israel is a very small country. The Arab countries are boundless and could have helped their brothers. Can you tell me why Egypt and Jordan, for instance, do not want them? It is something that really puzzles me. Kind regards. Mrs. Rosa Larsen
I`m an englishman living in Denmark. I met a danish woman in Israel and ended up in Denmark. I love Denmark and i love Israel as well and i have been there many times. The muslims are getting stronger in Denmark. Time will tell what the future brings for Denmark.🇩🇰❤🇮🇱💙
I am Israeli. Back in the '60s, when I was a child, my parents were good friends with a Danish couple they had met. My mother used to say that the Danes were the nicest people in Europe. There was nothing political in that observation of hers back then, but it resonates with me again today. Neither will we, of course, ever forget how the Danes heroically saved the Danish Jews in WW2.
Yes, right on. Denmark shows it's leadership in protecting its citizens(Jews descendants) from threat, especially antisemitic threat that not only dividing the government, polarizing the country, and eventually leads to pogroms of Jews.
@emilio0833 Luckily here in Sweden our government is starting to wake up too. Trying to heavily reduce immigration to here. I of course won't bore you with all the details but so far it seems to work very well. Now Norway on the other hand...
We actually have some members of the government who have ethnic backgrounds. They are actually the ones who is against uncontrolled immigration. Solid good guys, we owe them a lot. Thanks Tesfay ❤️

Sweden picked up many Jews during WW2 shipping them over to Sweden and safety, on small boats, on the Öresund water between Denmark and Sweden. My grandfather was born in Copenhagen. That doesn’t mean people where ever they live in the world agree to the Genocide. A genocide of all of the none Jewish people living and native to Palestine. To make room for the Jews from Ukraine, the Soviet Union, Poland Belarus and mainly the communist countries. We didn’t know of any Jews around us, moving to Palestine or the State of Israel. None. Visited there! It was the United States, Canada, GB, that was attractive. The Jewish Lobby and it’s organizations are huge in Sweden, as all over. Think other countries have been open and good to Jews everywhere. You couldn’t pass a collection bag, without it was collecting money for the newly created State of Israel, All through the 1950-70. No regular Swedes understood the political party of the Zionists, agenda and Jews were Zionists. Sweden was and stayed a Socialist government and that dechristianize Sweden. That and Socialism opened up for a very immoral and secular Swedens very generous no border policy, of people pouring into Sweden. Many came to take advantage of the Swedish social benefits, the Swedes had voted for and paid huge taxes for. To secure for their own peoples welfare and retirements. The Swedes were never asked or got to vote for big issues like immigration. Just like in the USA, regarding the distribution of their taxes for involvement in unnecessary wars, that don’t benefit the US population. Not being cautious of vetting who the immigrants are, etc. Later they opened, for this enormous immigration of refugees from Muslim countries, the USA had invaded. So instead of taking the many Christians from Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, who would have assimilated better in the European Nations, with Christian roots! These countries have now gotten a great Muslim population and seems to ignore the problems this causes. Put their head in the sand for the problems this created, with this type of a Religion, that’s a lifestyle really. Muslims live in their culture and don’t assimilate well, with the free, do as you please, western democracies. Don’t think the Swedes do either, morally! So better they return to their Land which they are so one with. Just like the Middle easterners everywhere. People do better in their own Lands. Don’t think Jews assimilated well in the State they created for themselves either. This as Jews all seems to still hold several passports to whatever other countries they came from or went to get educated, outside of Israel. It’s all complicated and most of us don’t understand how colonialism can work or be a civilized excepted way, after WW2. We obviously now see all around the the world and the now ongoing demonstrations with the suffering people of Gaza! the Middle East! These poor souls who never seems to get any help to end it! Talk and no action. The Messiah, the Savior. We don’t know when he’s gonna come, but he is right on time.🙏👍🏼

My family lived in Denmark for more than 9 generations. My father left there, but what I can see as an observer is that the Danish people is like the rest of Europe.
Denmark is safe because it's a homogeneous country and they've learned from their Scandinavian neighbors that bringing in a lot Muslims like Sweden does is not a brilliant idea. Unlike Muslims, the few Jews in Scandinavia have never misbehaved and are loyal citizens
We did dodge a bullit there. Denmarks welfare can easily be disrupted because we are such a small country. I am not against immigration, but we have to step carefully when there is a mass immigration.

The high priests of Solomon told him the spirit of god was leaving their presence. By the time Solomon died there was no more Israel. That was over 3,000 years ago. If you think "God" would support a nation that practices Palestinian genocide you have the wrong god.
Do you support occupier? Quoted from history It is committed the British government to “the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people” and to facilitating “the achievement of this object”. The letter is known as the Balfour Declaration. In essence, a European power promised the Zionist movement a country where Palestinian Arab natives made up more than 90 percent of the population. A British Mandate was created in 1923 and lasted until 1948. During that period, the British facilitated mass Jewish immigration - many of the new residents were fleeing Nazism in Europe - and they also faced protests and strikes. Palestinians were alarmed by their country’s changing demographics and British confiscation of their lands to be handed over to Jewish settlers.

@@ym-lv4jp I live in Israel and have lost many family and friends over the years! My friend's son was killed scouting Hamas positions in Gaza. That is, trying to avoid civilian casualties. Additionally, for years we've suffered indiscriminate rocket attacks and have had to go into bomb shelters. This, despite the fact that we left Gaza, dug up the graves of our citizens in Gaza, and gave our tax dollars to the PLO so that Gaza could keep the agricultural food tech greenhouses we built in Gaza and build a flourishing economy.

Although I support Israel, I think it is biased when you ask an Israeli activist in Denmark, if Denmark supports Israel? 😂She didn't mention that Denmark has an anti-terrorism legislation. People in Denmark have been sentenced to prison for paying tribute to the Hamas attack on 7 October in public. She also did not mention that the reason why there are armed soldiers looking after Israelis and Israeli property is because Danish police have spent more than a million man hours since the terrorist attack in Copenhagen on February 14, 2015, on guarding Jews and Jewish property, that police is missing elsewhere in our society. The soldiers only guard, in case of a terrorist attack they have no authority to arrest people.
The Danish saved all their Jews during WWII. When the Germans ordered Jews to wear a yellow Magen David for identification, King Christian of Denmark started donning it too. Thanks you, Danes!

Actually @robs were given the best land and Jews mostly barren, desert and swamp land that they turned into an oasis (improved agriculture, health etc). And you are also wrong about facilitating Jewish immigration because Grand Mufti, Hitler’s ally who incited horrific hate and violence against the Jewish people already living there such as the massacre in the ancient Jewish city of Hevron (1929), pressure the British to refuse Holocaust survivors while @rob (feudal clans, tribe, nomads from all over) had come flooding in by the hundreds of thousands 1880+ when Jews bought and developed the land and also after the fall of Ottoman Turk occupation during the British Mandate. Denmark actually never separated the state and church, but had it's transition to a peaceful enlightenment before the highly violent French revolution. "Modern day" Denmark is build on ideas that originate from the likes of highly religious Christian humanist philosophers like Grundtvig (creator of the folk high school) and Søren Kierkegaard (the Worlds first existentialist philosopher), not to forget the constitution of 1849 was compiled by the Christian bishop Ditlev Gothard Monrad and the famous Christian fairy tale writer and poet H. C. Andersen. On the surface Denmark may seem highly secular, and Kierkegaard's writings were mainly about how Christians must make independent choices, taking personal responsibility for our actions, which then constitute our existence. but the above were all very religious. Grundtvig was both a pastor, author, poet, philosopher, historian, teacher and politician and I suppose is also the reason why there is little to no support for a separation of the (folk-) church and state in Denmark even today. It's just not the kind of privatized Christian evangelism you find in the USA, that can be both highly aggressive and political in nature, but like an all-embracing philosophical Christianity, with room for everyone who believe in it, not matter their human "flaws" and personal issues. This is also why I would use the expression cultural Christian, like in the case of Naser Khader, a long-time member of parliament and self-declared cultural Christian muslim refugee from Syria, who wrote the book 'Confessions of a Cultural Christian Muslim'. I'll quote the liberal Jewish journalist and writer Herbert Pundik, who was born in Denmark, saved from the nazis and subsequently immigrated to Israel, who once wrote : "The Danes are a chosen people. They just do not know, and this is their luck." The point being, that unlike highly religious Jews, Muslims or Christian evangelists, Danes do not believe they are chosen by God, but to a fair extend do by heart what Jesus said in the Gospel.
Jews are one thing, the state of Israel quite another. Most people seem to forget that. I have nothing against jews, but I have a lot against the state of Israel. Shame on you Israel!
Maybe we have a lot of protesters, like so many others......but in the end i feel Denmark will stand with Israel like rest of scandinavia......Sweden is a special case, they are so weird

Denmark were the exception, though It's difficult to explain exactly why, but no Jew in Denmark wore the yellow star or any other identification mark during the war. The Germans eventually did capture 464 Jews who did not manage to escape to Sweden by the help of the Danes, though mainly the elderly, but even here the Danish government managed to pressure the Germans to not deport any of them to the death camps and also to allow the Danish red cross to provide food parcels and monitor their health. Still, a total of 51 of the captives got sick and died of old age or disease at the Theresienstadt camp.
The Danish people behaved during the nazi occupation in a way that no jew may ever forget and will allways be thankfull for. If only other nations would have act like them so many would have survived. I hope that Danmark to day will not follow the stupid main stream of european left pseudo intellectuals towards Israel.
Dont forget the experience with the palestinians given shelter in the 90's... 66% have now HEAVY criminal records but hey, their kids only 50%, so in 5 generations it will be ok ❤

Do you support occupier? Quoted from history The 1948 Nakba, or the ethnic cleansing of Palestine Even before the British Mandate expired on May 14, 1948, Zionist paramilitaries were already embarking on a military operation to destroy Palestinian towns and villages to expand the borders of the Zionist state that was to be born. In April 1948, more than 100 Palestinian men, women and children were killed in the village of Deir Yassin on the outskirts of Jerusalem. That set the tone for the rest of the operation, and from 1947 to 1949, more than 500 Palestinian villages, towns and cities were destroyed in what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or “catastrophe” in Arabic. An estimated 15,000 Palestinians were killed, including in dozens of massacres. The Zionist movement captured 78 percent of historic Palestine. The remaining 22 percent was divided into what are now the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip. An estimated 750,000 Palestinians were forced out of their homes.

Denmark doesn't stand with Israel, Denmark is very divided on the issue. Personally I believe Israel has forfeited whatever right it may have had to exist.
A huge majority of the Danish population stands with Israel, which is also reflected in the fact that only the extreme left condems Israel. The Israel haters are however very loud, which makes them think they have popular support. They don't. It's mainly Muslim emmigrants and far lefties and they live in their own closed worlds.

The problem is, the food is not delivered smoothly to the Gazans. By different causes, most of them inside of the self Gaza. So why shall we pay extra for something which anyway doesnt come forward??
