I believe it's used as a sweetener, like maple syrup or glucose syrup.

Sweets I believe and I think it can also be used in sauces because it's not too sweet

I've seen it used in stir-fry recipes and as sweeteners for candies and sweets.

This is actually the same process as making Budweiser beer, just slightly different ratios, and cooking times.

My exact thoughts. Main ingredients are cheap. Cost is so high because of manual labor and mark up.

I bought brown rice syrup at a Korean grocery store but I really don’t know for what recipe. Still not sure what I use it for.

Mangchi is Korean Channel that could tell what to do with rice syrup. you can make gouchujang which is a fermented chili paste.
