Hopsin doesn't seem like the type of artist who would sign to someone else anyway. He built his own fanbase... he produces his own music... he's the epitome of the new generation "do it all yourself" artist. I don't see why he'd even consider signing to someone else.
our of all the people of FV, I feel bad for jarren the most. he's never really been on his own, his soundcloud doesn't have very many followers or views, and people talked all kinds of shit about him trying to do music inspired by his home town. I hope he gets his following back because he was completely fucked over by this beef.
I like Hopsin, but Hopsin dickriders would benefit a lot by watching this video. The difference in maturity between Hopsin and an older, more experienced Tech N9ne is SO evident.
i liked and subscribed, man i got love for tech and rittz and all of strange muzic. tech keeps it real and i hope one day this shit blows over with hopsin and funk volume. and see what happens afterwards if hopsin goes back to FV or tech signs him to SM.
Instead of looking at the Hopsin situation in a monetary sense, he looked at it in a business sense. Tech didn’t make it this far and stay relevant this long by making bad business decisions. He looked at the big picture and realized there’s a good chance that signing Hopsin has a chance of driving a wedge between himself and the aforementioned artists. The artists he’s friends with and has profound respect for.

Reason being is because he offered Hopsin the position already at Strange in 2010, but Hopsin declined and decided that he wanted to do the Independent thing (which Hopsin addressed in ILL Mind 4). With Swizz not being active and Dizzy dedicating himself to Dame; Jarren Benton would really be the only logical option at this point.

Very diplomatic answer. Can't say he's being unreasonable because it's not a good idea to sign someone to a record label when they're going through professional turmoil and have got industry beef going on.
I honestly rate hopsin so much purely because of his originality and that he puts all the hard work into what he does. He's a sick rapper and i hope he keeps pumping chuuunes out for years to come! Not saying other rappers don't do this. Hopsin is just the topic of conversation. I rate a lot of rappers.

Tech N9ne is all about quality. This just shows that. He doesn't want to get involved with drama even if he would make money from it. He just wants his label all about the music and that's it.
Hopsin is too real. Tech wants Hop to "go along to get along", and labels his integrity as "immaturity". Hopsin ain't about being exploited, which is all Tech wants to do as a business man. Rapper owned labels always keep their artists down so the gravy train keeps coming and they never outshine them. Tech feeds on his artists. A label is a bank loan, and Hopsin knows this.

I've known about Tech for a long time. I didn't get into his music because of his physical appearance and I thought he was Devil worshiper. However, as I got older decided to check his music out and I realized that I was judging the book by its cover. It also made me realize that I was unintentionally being hypocritical because Bone Thugs N Harmony was my favorite group and they was making tracks about Mr.Ouija and ICP well their albums were hella filled with those things as well lol. Anyways I started looking into his music more and realized how dope Tech was. My favorite thing about him though is how real he is. You can tell by his reasoning in this interview that he values friendship over money. Yeah he could sign any of those artists but respectfully decided not too. He has been through alot especially with his mom passing and his family turning on him over the money stuff. Regardless if you like his music or not, you have to respect him as a man and and not change for the negative even though he had great reason too.
