This is a very accurate and fantastic review. The number 1 reason I didn't buy this is because the wind noise is unbearable. I bought the Silverado EV instead and it's 10 times more quiet inside. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out who exactly is this vehicle for? It's very capable but so are about a dozen other trucks, Jeeps and Broncos that have the same abilities. At the end of the day, is it purely bragging rights that you could afford to buy one? It's the only conclusion I can come to.
I was at the Rockaway Mall in Rockaway, New Jersey and I met this gentleman with his crew and this Hummer! I didn’t know who he was, but he was a true gentleman and he gave me a quick demonstration of this Awesome Truck! Thanks Hanson! Regards, Abraham!🙏🏻👍🏻🫡🏴☠️
A good friend of mine bought this same trim line, and he loves the dam thing. It's Fast, rugged, and loaded with tech. I must say it does look bad ass in person, and drives smoothly.
Had a reservation for 2 cyber beasts, one for me and one for my parents. This was gonna be my first car. I have a knack for all things weird and things people like to hate. I hate being sheeple and the more hate something got the more I love it. I like thinking for myself. And Yes I worked hard for the salary I'm making right now. Been driving a toyota rav4 since 2008. I was invited to order, but since Elon musk drove the price up 30k as an Asian its quite hard to stomach. Been looking at the hummer ev and with all the research I've done, I think it's a much better alternative especially with the range much higher than the cybertruck. My wife is not as convinced as she is on the smaller side 5'1. But after test driving she was much more relieved with the automatic parking feature. Something she was dreading if I got this truck.
I love that truck do you want Range a lot of batteries in it? That’s how you do a good evening it’s a monster a a of of you have the option of a Solar solar power and charger for free
You're not charging this truck with solar panels. It would take 2 weeks. It is a large battery that requires home charging to really take advantage of the truck
Your ignorant post shows how clueless you are. All vehicles depreciate and are horrible Investments. Electric vehicles depreciate more but that opens up the second hand market for people to get incredible deals. The Hummer is for a guy with the pockets not someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and looking for a way to save money on gas. Go test drive the 3x and report back here I guarantee you will think differently once you feel the acceleration and the incredible handling and ride of the thing. Electrification is the future don't be a fool and make ignorant comments on the web. You'll have to eat your words soon
@@ogremgtow990 You mentioned a grid outage. I am in south Florida. If we have a grid outage, gas stations are not immune. With regard to towing. 99.9% of Hummer owners or EV truck owner will never tow or go off road. It is the best looking EV , SUV, SUT on the market. I save $400 a month in gas alone. I have several race horses and we tow the horse trailer with an F350 diesel. It was designed for that and performs well. Go test the Hummer 3X with a 1000 hp and you will never want a ICE again. The acceleration is crazy, Air ride is awesome and requires no maintenance other than tire rotation. If you charge at home @ .14 Kw (average) , a full charge costs about $20 or so to go ~ 300 miles. I have unlimited charging of $31 per month (FPL Evolution Flat Rate) and charge every night. I get 18 miles per hour charge rate and leave the house with 300 mile range every morning. I drive about 70 miles per day average. It is no brainer. EV are the future. My Hellcat Challenger is collecting dusk next to the Hummer in my garage.
You said nothing about Towing in your response. Gas stations are not immune if the power grid goes down so that is a non-factor. With regard to Towing most people never tow anything. I have race horses and my stable has an F350 Diesel which is more than up to the task of towing anything. I have the Hummer EV SUV and it's the most incredible vehicle I've ever owned. I save over $400 a month in gasoline alone by having an electric vehicle. FPL has an unlimited plan of $31 a month for at home charging. I leave the house every morning with 280 Mi range. Even if you don't have a flat rate plan, with the average cost of electricity per Kw in the United States, would cost you roughly $18 to $21 for a full charge. Whether you want to admit it or not I'll electrification is the future. I have a Hellcat Challenger and a C8 vert which are collecting dust in the garage next to my Hummer EV. Test drive the 3x with a 1000 horsepower and you'll think differently.
@@davejones1959 What's wrong with me not wanting an electric car ? besides I used to help run the electric grid . The electric grid can not handle putting 50 million cars on it to recharge. At 25 kilo watts per fast charger and 50 million cars that's 1.25 million Mega watts just for the cars . The entire American grid can only produce 1.19 million mega watts with everything maxed out. So the grid goes down. Where are you going to get all the extra generation and transmission lines from ? You going to burn coal ? No . How about hydro ? No , not enough places left to put a dam up . how about nuclear ? no. Where are you going to store the spent fuel rods ? Where are you going to get all that electricity from ?
