Needed this. I’ve been going hard practicing, but in open gyms I’m having a hard time putting what I practiced in to work. It almost feels like I don’t want the ball. Trying to join a league but I don’t want to look dumb.
I’ll say this, the only way to get there is by going through it. Looking bad for a little bit if necessary if you eventually want to be good. But the reason why a lot of players never get a chance to look good is because they aren’t willing to go through the bad first and learn from it.
I’m a 13 year old boy tryna get better at basketball. I workout for an hour and I do fundamental drills. I enjoy working out but I’m not seeing results. My ball handling is kinda weak and I can finish but not very well. My goal is to become the greatest player of all time and be better then my brother. People keep saying I have potential but I feel like I’m not getting better. What should I do?
Get on a team and gain real experience! Experience > Practice when you put your skills to the grain that’s only when you can see what you need to work on! Try running 5on5 pick up at the park 2v2 3v3 all that or have your older brother guard you (1v1) while you do certain drills
Hey just felt like telling you don't give up. I'm 6'3 with a 6'8 wingspan and I'm STRUGGLING rn. Find things that fit your playstyle and go off that and expand from there. Good luck man
definitely work with more sg/pg stuff so your ball handling isnt a weakness. the more comfortable you get dribbling the easier it is to get into a comfortable position of the dribble
Should i use the nba plauer workouts and will they help me improve fast. If not can u tell me or give me some other workouts. I broke my ankle 3 months ago and im now trash.
