My maximum limit is 5 minutes away and 1.5 miles. Anymore than either of the two I just let it roll through 😂🤣 I also don’t do any trips that require round trip tolls since Uber will make you pay out of your own pocket for the return toll.
I know I hate when overdose that is messing up the chance to receive Quest these trips now sits covid are longer so it's best to pick the lowest Quest and I try to pick trips that are you know in a 55 minutes away or but I can always see it when I do the pick a ride but if I do Auto Select Auto Select will send me all over the place
Like he said it depends on your city and market, for him the limit may be 5 mins for someone else it may be 10mins. It’s best to look at how much you will be paid verse the distance of picking them up.
I mostly stuck to double digits myself…pit-stops at the store required cash tip or no stop. I explained to them we don’t make money unless we’re moving. Be blessed out there.
I pickup up someone at a college that had a destination half a mile away. In the time it took me to pick her up, she could have walked there. And she was a young girl who could have easily made the trip walking. Good thing there's a minimum fare.
Don’t u get traffic and long waits at the airport? I haven’t done any yet. Just one drop off at 4am when there was no traffic. I’d pay usually higher from the airport?
If you are Uber pro driver you would know the length of the trip before you accept It. Also by not accepting trips that a more than 5 minutes away their acceptance rate would drop and you'd lose your Uber pro status.
@@DriverMan My acceptance rate is 94% It allows me not to take 1 or 2 out of every 10 When it's busy I shut off over X and only drive the higher platforms. I pretty much accept all of those.
In my market 10 minutes is my max. Considering the layout of the city. Most of the time they’re longer rides. But I have been screwed before. It happens. My biggest pet peeve is people having 2 stops. One being the grocery store. They expect us to wait for them to shop? Hell no lol. I cancel the ride after they get out.
@@DriverMan No, but ur being paid for it. So what's the issue? | Last time I checked, UBER hadn't said it was now 'qualifying' the destinations that Passengers could take an UBER to. (So what's the issue?)🤔
@@re7416 The fact that people take a while to grocery shop and in that time the driver could’ve gotten a better paying ride. Drivers are trying to make money and not waste a lot of time
@Danv5497 that was extremely rude keep trolling if you don't want to watch and keep your ugly comments to yourself. Some people need these helpful tips since their new to driving for companies
I am so confused. You stated that you.....picked up 3 people. But, then you start talking as if this happened to another person, not you...but the "poor guy"?
there was a big airport drop off today in spokane and i screwed up accepted a 15 minute away trip and guy literally just went half a mile to bank. never again am I gonna take anything over 5 minutes
Yeah, and I don’t get why they won’t show you the whole trip before you accept or reject like they do with deliveries….so that you could have avoided that.
I’ve driven for Uber often on for about six years, I have about 7000 trips, I have never driven over five minutes here in Phoenix to pick up a passenger, if the trips worth it, I may go seven minutes
@@DriverMan i’m unable to see where anybody’s drop off is…it’s hurting my stats but I don’t want to waste all my gas driving from one town to another. I live in a town with the only airport. Other than that everything’s been fine I’ve been getting a lot of pick ups
@@AmandasBudgets yeah unfortunately they don’t let you see the drop off in advance….so lame. Good you’ve been getting a lot of rides though. You could also try food delivery such as Grubhub.
