I did this tour a couple of years ago with the Porsche club which included a very nice lunch and also a visit to the factory at Leipzig with drives on their test track.Excellent

Fabulous museum and factory tour! Was there just 18 days ago as part of a Porsche Club GB organised visit and tour to Germany and Austria. Priority parked at the front with 16 others and one of the best meals ever in the Christophus restaurant. Then on to Hans Peter Porsche Traumwerk and Gmund plus Grossglockner pass and others and the delights of Salzburg, Neuswannstein, Oberammergau, Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg! 2578 miles in total in my 2006 987.1 one man one engine tiptronic C4S in midnight blue. Never missed a beat. No issues whatsoever. 2 people and their luggage fir 12 days plus lots of souvenirs!

I've been there and the Mercedes-Benz Museum nearby back in 2017. Both of these museums should be on your list when you go to Germany. They're beyond awesome. I'd definitely visit again given the chance, and hopefully also the BMW Museum in Munich.

Porschee928GTS it is the Mercure hotel, Stuttgart Centre, Heilbronner Str. Just a 10-15 min walk down into the city centre, and 10-15 min drive to Zuffenhausen (heading OUT of city centre when the morning rush hour traffic is heading in!). Underground parking at the hotel. All the rooms feature the murals Ona wall - either Porsche or Mercedes - both museums are in Stuttgart.

My auntie lives only a few minutes from there but somehow I never make it when visiting :P I think the British Racing Green looks much better than the Irish Green; there is a video on a 997 GT3 in that colour, it would look amazing on any 911. 6.000 bucks and they'll paint one for you :)

What’s the deal with the parking at the Porsche museum. Is that some kind of premier parking? They can’t possibly let everyone park there. I was in Germany over Nee Years and the Porsche museum was just a bridge too far on that trip. Sometime in the future I’ll make it. Thanks for sharing your trip until I get there.

K1dPhresh1 hi mate. They make exceptions for groups if for example they are on road trips and coming to the museum in their Porsche’s. You need to ask them in advance and so long as there is space they will accommodate you. Thanks for watching 👌👍

@@alsatch_ most of their cars are stored somewhere else tho. Obviously the location is secret but they opened them for some TV teams to film all the cars. I don't know if there is a English version tho:/
