I bought a zodiac sea wolf white and neon in the summer and love it. It's a slightly smaller case size and wears really well. Is different in colour and really good value. Love mine.

Please review the recent squale 1545 grey blue dial. Just bought it and it’s a “stunner”. My girlfriend likes it, so we need your wife’s opinion to back it up.

Nothing better than a watch brand revival going in the right direction. The blue one is fantastic and i would like to see the orange one too. Some how they remind me of Squale with such vibrant colours. For once I disagree with what the wife said but don’t tell her I said 🤣 Brilliant show 🍻

Great show, once again. I’ve always had a thing for Zodiac. Not sure why, but I do. I love the limited edition skin diver. That’s definitely a piece that fits my style. However, I was disappointed in the lume. Did it even have any at all? If so, it was virtually undetectable in the video. You would think that being a part of Fossil that they would be able to bring the cost down a little bit, like Invicta did with Glycine. Maybe I’m just nit-picking. I would definitely love to own a Zodiac one day. Thanks for enlightening us to some new pieces from a brand that doesn’t get much love.

Excellent review Russ. Really like these watches. My dad was a scuba dive yuppie but in the 60's! He then got hooked on Mountaineering in the 70's. He might have had a Zodiac, not sure, I do remember his Pogue very well and his Seiko divers. Very entertaining as always and appreciate what the wife said!! Do you know that many of us may well be doing the bezel face along with you! 🤣

Both great looking watches, personally it’s the compressor for me but as you mentioned why not match the date with the dial. I think the compressor has a doxa look about it and to be fair if I was shelling out that sort of money I’d go up a bit for a doxa. Excellent vid Russ and as usual the wife breaks it all down to it’s bear essentials perfectly.

I think aesthetically the skin diver shares quite a few similarities with the recent Laurel Alpinist reissues with those large triangles, the dauphine hands and the thin lugs and general case shape.

Really like what Zodiac did over the last years - a lot of nice things in the back catalogue, which helps. When I have the chance, I’d love to get my hands on the Worn & Wound special edition of the Super Seawolf. Late 80s / early 90s awesomeness 😎

Always liked Zodiac, one of only a handful of Swiss watch brands that appeal personally. Would love a vintage Seawolf. I got told they made a model called the Pisces.....but I'm not too sure sounds a bit fishy to me.....

Purchased on sale the new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic Compression blue/white. A great piece for a horological significant history, ceramic (over SS core), and CSOC movement. Great vid - thanks.

Great video. Have a Sea Dragon chrono and love it. I read somewhere that because Zodiac are part of Fossil, and they're massive, that there is a higher percentage of the parts made in house in Switzerland than shipped in from the East, unlike a lot of watches that say Swiss Made on the dial.

I am so happy you made this video. Just yesterday I was reading up on the history of Zodiac. I wanted to send Marc and TGV a message to ask them to make a video explaining what exactly happens when a watch company (such as Zodiac) is purchased completely by another company (Such as Fossil). I would love to know if they are in any way the same actual company. Or, do they simply reuse the design and name without any true connection.

Im looking to buy either a Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 compression in black DLC (currently on sale 50% off) or a Squale 1545. I love the Zodiac but have seen dozens of comments about people saying the watch shit the bed within a few weeks and other horror stories about the quality going way down on Zodiac. If thats the case im going to go with the Squale 1545 but any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated. This will be my first auto with a swiss movement and id really like it to not be a lemon.

Just brought a zodiac super sea wolf gmt blazing rowers .Main reason I got the bezel looks insane,the strap stretches nicely to fit my chubby wrist and the quickest date always wins me over.Hearing bad things about the " in house" Stp20 movement though?

Another corker TMWC, for just a moment I thought I'd have all the watches that I wanted covered, well almost, I'm still waiting for my delivery of an F91W. And then I noticed F&G were now stocking Zodiac. Following a blast to the midlands last weekend, with only a single functioning brain cell active at the time (the other was on charge) I forgot to take a look at them. Oh well, it gives me another reason to pop into F&G next time I'm in the area. Top Job.

I really love the styling of the Super Sea Wolf 53 Skin...but I've seen reviews of them on other channels (and a batch of comments to accompany them complaining of quality issues with them...which makes me hesitate to pull the trigger.

Super sea wolf 53 is definitely my favourite but there's always a but the bezel is a bit 90s prefer a colour,.so why dont you go for the compression then i hear you say i dont like the dial as much as the other one or the butterfly clasp.always something.

I sent my Zodiac super sea wolf back for a refund because of the date not changing from the 3rd to the 4th. Today I ended up buying another one. Hopefully this one has zero issues!

Great video! I own the ZO9209 and ZO9271, of which the 9209 is a limited edition. The differences between the skin diver and compression cases are noticeable, but both wear effortlessly on my 7 1/2' (19.05cm) wrist. The gilding on the 9271 bezel insert must be seen to be believed. With Zodiac being Fossil's only mechanical brand, I can great things and tons of innovation going forward for Zodiac.
