Kim if you want a decorative door on the pantry an easy solution would be to use a screen door with a center curtain and tie the curtain together in the middle to form an hourglass shape , or maybe a lace curtain , that way you can lock the screen door if you want to so Levi only has access when you want him to , you have good ventilation for the fridge and freezer & you have a pretty look to the door ! You could use an old decretive screen door or just take a plain one snd cut scroll corner pieces of wood to decorate the screen door ! I saw one used as the pantry door and it really looked beautiful !! Just a suggestion hopefully to help with your wanting a door to your pantry ! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
If you just want to hide clutter, just put a cute curtain up to hide it. I don’t know if I would tackle a big renovation right before the holidays…….just my thoughts. Your home is decorated so cute, I know you will figure it out because you are SO creative. ❤
Kim, I don’t comment very often, but have watched you from the beginning. A though just occurred to me. I know that probably your biggest concern is limiting Levi without making him feel belittled. How about getting one of those mini-fridges from Walmart. You could put one day’s worth of snacks and drinks in it. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about him trying to get into the big refrigerator. Norma here. You make me so tired just listening to all your plans and projects. lol I don’t even have a walk in pantry. I have a tiny linen closet in one hallway that I use for both towels and I use the bottom half as a food pantry. Luckily you have room for all your belongings. Even though you’re about 20 years younger, I don’t know where you get the energy to do all you do. You’re amazing.
Kim, you are so creative and hard working that you actually create work for yourself. I agree with the lady who suggested that you use a screen door with a curtain. For even easier access to the pantry you could just make pretty curtains to use as a door. Then you don’t have to rearrange everything and find places to put everything. Make it easier on yourself so you can move on to another project that you want to accomplish.

I've read a few comments, one of the best the mini frig for Levi & one of those little drawer things attach it to the frig that could be his own frig , lil "pantry" . Hopefully you have a good place to do that if that's what u decide. I sometimes I make a list, you know the pros & cons, looks, function, practical etc. Plus make some sketches. You can do it. You are the Jackie of all trades & the master of all. You are so gifted everyone comes to you for one thing or another & you can do it. We love you Miss Sister Kim, May GOD BLESS you as only HE can. What if you put the deep freeze on the porch? The area you just cleaned in your last video. Could you make a storage area back there for the appliances? Would be easier to get too when you needed them

Good Morning Kim, KIM Stop... your tired. First, think, plan and "unload" the pantry in boxes put it on the porch out of your sight and out of your way for a few days. That way your not causing a mess in the house. Pull it all out. DO not lose any shelves or shelving. Clean, re-arrange and put back the way that free's up space and helps you better. Now if you can you just get a door and a nice one when you can? Your needing to organize and get rid of things more than anything. We all have to much in our homes and you too. So throw out, give away or sell things to lighten your load. If you do not use it get rid of it. They say if you've not used it in a year get rid of it. Well, like you or Paw Paw you never know what you might need in a year. Buy or build you a nice door and just rearrange the pantry to work better for you. I have my freezer out in the garage sure its a pain but beats in the house. Can you take and do that? Leave your refrigerator where it is so you can access it easier. Your getting over whelmed, so box it all up and bring it down and put away till you need it for the Holidays. We too are in a process of doing the same thing and de-cluttering. I wish you well, you so deserve some peace we all need a little serenity in our life's. ❤❤❤

Kim I am wondering if you could build a couple of tall and deep lazy Susan's with multiple wooden disc /shelves and doors. Looks next to the right side of your black refrigerator. You would gain more space for your belongings.
Have you thought about getting a long curtain rod and either sewing some curtains or having them made to completely cover that area. I have a hot area in my house we hang a sheet from ceiling to floor. But it doesn’t look great but it works as a divider. that’s why I suggested using a material you like to have made into some curtains to hide your clutter as you say. I just wish mine was as organized as yours 😂!
Godd morning Kim and Levi. Boy oh boy Kim you sure have been busy today. Might I suggest that you check into a sliding barn door as a door for your pantry? We have been demoing our country property we purchased in February and the master bathroom has a a door that folds up. It's extremely noisy, my husband gets up several times at night to go to the bathroom and it's extremely noisy. We're going to put a barn style door on it to see how it works out. I looked at Lowe's to see what the cost was and it's a little pricey but I found a company that sells just the hardware for around $50 for a one panel door. The door isn't included, but if you have an extra door like we have around it works perfectly, the installation was simple. This is just a suggestion to make your pantry look a bit nicer. Kim, maybe too many options keep you stuck. Whatever you use once a year, you don't need. Make it such that you and Levi don't get in each other's hair. Things you can get rid of, but not Levi. He will be with you. So make it that it works for you both. Blessings for peace between you and Levi. I've had to figure out many dilemas, but somehow I think you are an expert in figuring it out. Oh my goodness….my ninja foodi pressure cooker (very similar to insta pot) is my time saver!! You need to try a couple recipes or even just do hard boiled eggs/4 minutes or a roast/90 minutes or chicken roasted dinner/30 minutes total…dry pinto or kidney beans 75 min. The flavor and ease is awesome. Set it and forget it…definitely for over 50 folks. I’m 61. Never knew I would love it.
I think many people don't understand what it is you're dealing with. I remember Gigi telling a story that Lester told her, he was coming home from teaching and saw you by the fence crying so thinking something was wrong he stopped to see if you needed help. You just pointed at the house and he said "I don't know how to describe what I saw, he had emptied everything onto the floor, sugar, flour cereal, there was nowhere to step that wasn't covered." Maybe you could tell a couple of worse days so people can get the picture of what you are dealing with. Plus, always new people coming in. I happen to believe they see the astral plane that we can't see, and they don't have the words to tell us so it is probably very confusing.
My son is 35. Somewhat like Levi. His mind isn't 35. Have to watch him every second. Cannot let him with anyone else. He has what's called moderate mental retardation. He can be taught. He's a good helper. Can do things. But just cannot leave him alone or out of sight. Feel bad for them. God bless all the mothers who have a child with any life going problems. 🤗🙏❤
I ended up getting a side by side refrigerator for a pantry. My oldest granddaughter would eat during the night. I bought a bicycle lock to lock it up at night and when I knew I was going to be gone more than a few minutes. My grocery bill has went down a good bit.

Well Kim it looks like all you need to dO left is decide, is the refrigerator in a good spot or would it be better in the pantry closet, is the pantry closet in a good spot /with the door already on it,or more convenient for the refrigerator to be there ,because the rest of it looks amazing that you did.okay stay safe y'all.
Get a lesser expense pantry door with glass, like the McCoy pantry door you like. Get spray can of frosted spray. Spray the pantry glass with frosted spray over the word pantry. When you pull the word pantry off. The frosted glass will hide the inside of your pantry. Hope this is helpful. 😊

You sound very frustrated. Take a break and look on the internet for ideas. Sometimes my best inspiration comes at night when I'm trying fall asleep. I can't quite get the layout of the room, but if you could get a whole room shelved all the way around...could you do barn doors? They are very much in style and would go great with your decore. With your talent and all the scraps of wood people out there are discarding, I feel like you would have to purchase very little to make some. I have even seen curtains on a Temu add that looked like barn doors you could have to hang over the shelves. Even if the doors were open it would still look neat. You might even fix a gate in front of the fridges and freezer that swing in front of it to lock it but it would fit your theme and you could hang cute decorations on the fence gate!❤❤❤❤
Kim I think the refrigerator would be better if was moved out to where you said. Then utilize the rest of the pantry with shelves. Finally get the pantry door. Total pantry makeover🎉🎉,!
I have to laugh Kim i know what your going through but i have to tell you my family calls it nesting. They point out that's what i'm doing, then get out of my way cause it just be one room or i could toss the whole house. Kim you just got my mouth watering 🤤 for pressure cooker roast. It just falls apart and is so tender. I don't usually like roast and here I am craving my mom's pressure cooker roast. I miss her cooking but never her roast.
Could you make a pocket door with the glass and use that glass etching. You could put a decal of the type lettering you like then etch it. I’ve never done that before. A friend of mine does that sort of thing. Love the pantry. 😊
Once you use that pressure cooker you'll love it. I use mine to do lots of canning. But the meals you can make in there are wonderful. Hope you try it. And dont worry once you relax an excellent idea for your kitchen pantry will come to you. Have fun and enjoy doing it otherwise you just won't be happy.
Good morning Kim have you thought of a door with a keyless lock on it. You put in a code that only you would know, that would keep Levi out. All would be hidden and Levi wouldn't be able to get in it without you. 🤷♀️💜😊😟 Also, if you put a door on the pantry you wouldn't have to worry about decorating inside it. 🤷♀️💜👩🦳
Kim get some window doors off of market place and then get the frost spray to put in it. Get some stencil letters from the dollar tree tape it on to your window then take the gray frost sprayed over the top and then when you take the letters off you can see the word pantry underneath. And then your windows will all be frosted, except for where the word is just a suggestion.
The more I try to organize the more time it takes me to go through everything. I never seen to complete one job without having another one to do…… How long did it you to do all that, curious. ( 9:22 Hours, days?)….. Hope you find the perfect door!👍
I love your videos so much. I think you have so many different projects going on between you and your family that you become overwhelmed. Think you need step back and slow down for minute. Hope you dont think i overstepped by saying that, i not trying to sound mean. Love you and hope that i said it in way you understood what meant. You just seemed so stressed lately. With the drought and everything going on, you need a relax day. Hugs take care of you and then things will fall back into place.
Get that pressure cooker out and use it. It is so easy and fast. You can do so many things with it. They are not like they used to be. Not to fear it blowing up. You really have to do something wrong for that to happen. You will wonder how you ever lived without it.
My friend had to put padlocks on her main cabinets and refrigerator for her son who is autistic. Maybe getting less clutter in your area. Put some things on your porch
