@@jackhowes8530 sure it's technically possible, but only one year after signing the previous deal, and only increasing the wage by a tiny amount AND getting rid of the clause , almost no player would ever actually sign that in real life.

The fact that you literally didn't want to sell Guendozi already makes this career mode series not realistic but it's fair we're not all going full realistic when we're playing career mode.

it doenst have to be super realistic. in real life arsenal can get Aouar for 40-50M and not up to 80M. So just buy him when you raised 40M. you already overpaid for Partey.

I get preseason but if you're going to sim a majority of matches or even play around with the jump in sims too much, I'm probably not going to stay invested in the series ... just throwing that one out there ...
Matt talks about his OCD and how's he gonna keep it real but he proceeds to remove GK from the bench. Which team in RL doesn't have a reserve keeper on the bench? Super unrealistic in my opinion.
Please try to avoid simming Matt, I get that it’s new and it looks good but it takes so much away from the game. Also, if you’re going to use it I think you should sim the whole game instead of jumping in when there’s a chance to score because that’s effectively letting the CPU do the hard work.
I’m not sure if you’ll read this one but please hear me out, mate! For years Arsenal have had a huge fanbase in Japan for reasons I’m sure you’re aware of (Miayichi, Inamoto, Asano). Considering the fact that rivals (Tottenham) are again for obvious reasons supported by South Koreans, maybe you can try having a young Japanese player with a decent potential (80) in your team and add like 10m to your budget every season because or potentially shirt sales in Japan? Here is some players I do recommend: Keito Nakamura 19yo 66/80 LM Yukinari Sugawara 20yo 69/79 RB Daichi Kamada (the Emery sacker) 23yo 76/80 CAM/CF Takehiro Tomiyasu 22yo 72/83 RB/CB
Add Dominik Szoboszlai and Michael Olise to your shortlist, they are both attacking midfielders, Olise plays for Reading, and Szoboszlai plays for RB Salzburg. They would be a great signing at the start of season two. Please consider my suggestion, Matt.
I would of accepted that lacazette bid tbh. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if he did leave Arsenal in the next 12 months and also it basically covered your partey signing and would of put you in good position to go for Aour.
