Nice i recently watched your first series with prot so this is welcome. Just one thing Holy shock is used basically on cooldown it is very mana efficient. So your mana Problems dont come from that. Looking forward to more Videos. Also subscribed.

thing with hpal mana issues is that basically its reversed to a normal healer- word of glory and holy shock are pretty mana efficient spells for healing along with the beacon of virtue which is awesome for group topping, but if you're playing offensively by spamming holy shocks on enemies, judgmenting off cd, using crusader strike and spending hp on shield of the righteous, you're gonna go oom quite soon However, the good thing is that there is a blessing of winter which gives you mana regen which really helps between pulls and delays your drinking by a lot i'd say. To keep on that topic, if you're not sure how to optimise the blessings yet, just send the summer and autumn on the highest ilvl dps, then winter and spring on yourself.

Hey great video! I’m a holy pally main and have gotten the meta M+ achievements (KSM, KSH) all the way back to legion. I wanted to point out a few tips that I think will help you on your way! 1. Your mana problems can be alleviated by playing blessing of summer. This is a spell that rotates through 4 different spells each time you press it, one for each season. All of the buffs are pretty good but the one that will help you with mana is Blessing of Winter, it is spell that will grant you a good chunk of mana back. Highly recommend getting used to playing with this talent. As the Spring and fall spells can really help you bridge the healing gaps between your wings. 2. For your beacons I know most h palllys are running Beacon of virtue but I recommend playing with Beacon of Faith. I find it is a much easier time while learning to play the class since it places a “safety blanket” over a dps that you don’t need to think about too much, where I find if you mess up your beacon of virtue you end up very far behind and it’s harder to catch back up. I just keep one beacon on the tank and one on a squishy ranged player or myself. Those were the 2 main things I wanted to mention, but I’m sure I’ll think of a few more 😄. Anyway can’t wait to see your journey and I hope you end up enjoying holy pally as much as I do!

I had nearly the same thing happen with my evoker alt where I got the beacon from this same weekly quest. Can't get a trinket to save my life on my warrior tho, a toon that I've put way more time into than my evoker lmao

How do you get that bit of UI with the boss abilities on the scrolling bar? Seems super helpful.

Sporecloak is a great embellishment, if its a new character you can also get all the sparks from last season as well

Really interesting video and some great tip in there. Don't be me: accidentally blew almost all of my flightstones upgrading an unequippable BOP to 405 that I hadn't realized was in my bags! - saw a set of legs that had great stats in the upgrade view, didn't remember picking them up so I figured "I'll max those guys out and equip them"; upgraded them to 405 and then noticed they were Mail instead of the Cloth I needed - :'(

What weakaura/addon do you have where it shows the abilities scrolling down as a timer?

is that an addon or a weak aura that does the boss timers on your right side there? that looks super convenient from the standard bigwigs bars

The 373 gear isn't universally priced. It was under 1k for you. On my server it can cost up to 15k. Although golds easy to come by, just something to keep in mind.

Okay, so I don't know how long ago you started this challenge, but literally, this SAME thing happened to me on the last Mythic+ weekly quest. I was gearing a new holy pally and did the mythics quest on her first week at 70 and got the freaking Rashok trinket from the chest. But I think mine was 3/5 instead of 2/5. And someone else in my guild got a trinket from the chest that week. It was seriously trinket week.

To get full use of the Lariat since 10.1 you need to have socket in each slot that can, otherwise its kinda crap. 3 sec proc with no sockets, 10 sec with sockets.

As someone who hasn’t even gotten KSM.. I may try a healer till KSM. I stopped due to running over 20 dungeons and seeing 2 pieces of gear from drops and not being able to keep up since I don’t raid either.

Small Tip: You can just craft 408 items for like 200g and a whelpling crest

Damn.. I still don't have Rashock's on my Priest despite doing Rashock on Normal/Heroic/LFR each week since it's been open..

honestly LFR is the easiest and least wipe-y it's ever been imo. Rashok is just a hard fight for people who have absolutely no clue what they're doing is all this video is very inspirational. I will now level and gear all 38 specs and attempt this challenge. Wish me luck!

ugh I raid on 2 characters and have only seen that trinket drop 1 time. As for alt luck my main shadow priest did not get ragefeather after spending all season trying to get it. My alt warlock that i was playing out of boredom got 3 in one week

Crusader strike is actually very mana heavy (they still haven't reverted the mana nerf of Crusader strike + Crusaders Might from SL) so that's why you are going oom more. Luckily mana issues will be changing come 10.1.5. Other than that, carry on :)

This video was super helpful. Not a pally but I just hit 70 for the first time and I genuinely am a bit overwhelmed with all the content open lol. I still don’t understand what the whole “+2” and keys thing even means yet. I’ve only done normal dungeons but I now know my ilvl is high enough for +2 so thank you!

Ur talking about mana issue in a +2 wait till ur doing +20 tyrannical😅 imo hardest part of being a healer isnt the healing check but having enough mana before boss die because not every tank in pug that look to healer mana and just pull right away.

Would be a lot cooler if you played a non-meta character like a BM hunter or afli-lock. You removed half the challenge by playing a class/spec everyone wants in keys.

Naturally you get the trinket in the weekly and I’ve killed rashok every week on normal and heroic and RF and have yet to get it….

This doesnt seem like much of a challenge to be fair.. keys are extremely forgiving until u getting into 23+ this season. Keystone hero isnt challenging in any shape or form, even with pugs... If you were to give this some actual twist as in "cant use my key, and cant have anything above 400 ilvl equipped or in bags" maybe?

100% my trash alts always get crazy gear. rolled a couple heroic incarnate icons last patch on toons i hardly played and recently my ilvl 405 dk got a heroic pocket anvil and normal beacon from the dungeon boxes LMAO

yeah because m+ rating is sooo fucking difficult to get, explains why there are 2.9k rated players and they back pedal into every avoidable dmg possible, you want an actual challenge, zero to gladiator, then you will be good at the game
