PERSONALLY i hated season 5. I thought it was the worst one. Seasons 7/8 were also weak compared to the others but I think every season had its good moments. I dont think the show was ever TERRIBLE or anything. Not compared to other shows.
Tbh I love how much Damon loves Elena and vice-versa. In any show I watch, I don’t think I would ship two characters if I believed that they could move on from each other lol. Like why would I ship two characters if I believed that what they had was interchangeable with someone else or that one of them could be replaced by someone else? That’s why Delena has always been one of my favorite ships.
Finally! I’ve been waiting. The community is split about season 7 and 8. I personally love them. (The time jump scenes are always cool!) There are a lot of interesting storylines! But honestly I can’t wait for the originals. It’s better than TVD imo!
It’s the way that Damon was really counting down the days until he gets Elena back 😩 The scene where he almost let the car hit Bonnie was interesting bc I completely get him missing Elena but I do love that Bonnie points out that she also lost Elena. Both are dealing with not having Elena around and Bonnie said that he’s her only reminder of Elena rn. Both of them are important to Elena and she’s important to them too so it’s difficult for everyone 😭
When I first watched this season I was not a fan. I didn't like the Heretics or the flashfoward storyline much. BUTTTTT upon rewatch I really like it. Everytime I rewatch it I like it more and more. I think that the storylines this season are strong. Also, STEFAN AND CAROLINEEEEEEEEE. Also, I do love the brotherly bond a lot in season 7 and Stefan/Paul imo JUST SHINES!
The thing is that more times than not, it is their fault... On average he is still right when it comes to blaming his supernatural friends for all of the supernatural chaos... Bonnie wasn't to blame in this specific situation but she took part of the series of events that lead to this happening... And like I said, most of the other times the supernatural people around him are to blame for the things happening.
to me it was Bonnie's fault that this happened, because Kai wasn't a threat really I believe that he had changed and they could have built something there but oh well.
@@user-sx6eu4rg2x I agree. It’s Bonnie’s fault that Elena wound up in that coma and that the Heretics got out. I know Kai put her through hell, but she could have toughened up and put aside her pride.
Matt has every right to be angry, he cares about humans and they always get sacrificed for the vampires, and his friends often cause this even though they don’t mean too
I love that these new seasons focused more on other friendships/relationships. season 8 is kind of cringy, but season 7 is solid to me. I love bamon. Honestly if anything I’d be fine if Stefan ended up with Elena and Damon with Bonnie just like the books (Caroline and Klaus;) Bamons connection is my favorite in the show.
Matt might not have said it, but I agree with him that it’s Bonnie’s fault for the Heretics getting out. It wouldn’t have happened she hadn’t betrayed Kai.
