Very thoughtful review. You had asked for first impression of tail lights. My first thought was old '70's or '80's Jaguar. The whacky procedure for the auto / manual mode, and the windows not going all the way down would be annoying, but the exhaust sound is pure music. Looks fun to drive, but would not want to have to keep it running. Engine space looks tight. Take care
I think you found your Niche bro, you do car reviews really well and you keep people interested and you don't drag on over and over with the same thing you keep a good flow going and I really enjoyed it. I think you should review like every car on your lot per se or perhaps like the Cadillac Escalade and all the features and things like that in the interior side and then go to the comparable Yukon Denali same year or close to and go through that specs and interior and show the differences because even though they're the same they're pretty different on the inside. I mean look at Doug demuro and others that do car reviews, there's a huge following a huge market for that and you will see your subscriber base grow big time if you continue this because like I said I really enjoyed it you do it well and I think this is what you should do more often because I enjoyed it a lot and I'm sure others did too I say you review the new model Escalade I would love that.
It can’t be a GT and a Cambio Corsa. It’s one or the other. A GT is a 6 speed manual. A Cambio Corsa has the paddle shifters. And it’s not a poor man’s Ferrari. The maintenance is the same cost as it is on a Ferrari. These cars we popular for people that wanted a super car without their car sticking out like a Ferrari. They are more subtle. They are great cars, their value is starting to go up. In 7 or so more years they will be worth more than $100k.
The car has a F1 gearbox, it is placed at rear just like the Ferrari 360. It is a single clutch manual transmission with F1 hydraulic pump replacing the clutch pedal, it uses the hydraulic pressure to push and hold gear in place. The gearbox lasts about 30K miles and you also need to replace the F1 pump because it will stop working after a while. It has Auto mode but it should never be used as an automatic gearbox. The reason why 1st gear car is not moving is because it is a manual gearbox, when you give it a little gas it will engage the clutch.
You shouldn't call it that. The image of this car in Europe is better then Ferrari , stylish , discreet , and so Beautiful - You should have kept it , not that stupid R8 that you were raving about in your latest videos ;-) P.s. The engine is Build by Ferrari and the car is also painted there
It looks nice but I remember outrunning one of these at Lime Rock park in my 2003 Nissan 350Z with a puny V6 and 280 horses lol. These are cool but cars from the same era that are cheaper and more reliable had better performance. The 360 Modena however, that's a different beast.
It's about power to weight. I'm sure there's a thousand cars that can eat your 350z. An ariel atom would blow your doors off and make it to the restaurant and have ordered by the time you got to the parking lot.
@@muskokamike127 point is price to performance ratio. In a straight line and in corners a 350 for 10k beat it. Try getting and Ariel Atom of the same year and era for under that then you'll understand my comment.
@@sharpemang To SOME the point is "price to performance" to others? It's the name. It's the quality of materials. It's the pinache. Which is why people will pay $50,000 extra to buy a porsche with less stuff on it. But if price is your only point, then I could build a vehicle for $5K that could beat your $10K 350. BTW: how many kids can you fit into the backseat of your 350?
@@sharpemang BTW: you don't like it. that's your choice. You bought the car that you liked with the performance you wanted. Congrats, you proved that a free market society works.
For the first 9 minutes the audio sounds like you're about 50 ft. from the camera and hey; you are about 40 - 50 ft. away from camera. You might want to consider one of the new clip-on mics with wind sock. Just sayin'. Great video otherwise.
The manual transmission is a six-speed unit that was available either as a GT or CC (Cambiocorsa) using paddle shifters. The GT version utilises a foot-operated clutch, whereas the Cambiocorsa (Italian, meaning "race change")[28][29] is an automated manual transmission that uses a Formula One-type gearbox with hydraulic operation and electronic management operated by F1-style paddles behind the steering wheel, similar to the system used in Ferrari sports cars.[30] The system allows the driver to choose between four different operating modes: Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip. Each of these programs is selected by means of console-mounted buttons, corresponding to different types of operating mode. By switching between the Normal and Sport modes, the driver can select between different electronic stability control settings and, if installed, different active suspension settings.[30] Normal mode provides a more comfortable ride, whereas Sport mode stiffens up the suspension and provides fast gear shifts of around a quarter of a second.[28][31] Automatic mode electronically handles shifting of the transmission, but allows the driver to rapidly revert to manual using the F1-style paddles.[30] The Low Grip, or Ice mode, allows for smooth starting and gear changes on snow and ice.
I'll tell you what I told the other ignorant buffoon. "Wanna be"?? Right. $15-30k range minimum for a Gransport in decent condition with low-ish miles. Then $1500-3k every 6 months for insurance. $5k a year maintenance minimum. Mods? How deep are your pockets? 😆 Try again chief. Buying one is one thing, maintaining and insuring one is another story. This is all in addition to the monthly payment, assuming you don't have the $15-30k in cash. Do try again, define "wanna be" for us lmaooo🤦♂️ Also an F430 with the nearly the identical engine is $80-100k 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ you are literally comparing an apple to an orange, bubba. Let us know when you graduate from 8th grade.....
@@miketaylor8323 that's your response? Did you mean "then" instead of "that"? I'm trying to make sense of what little logic was placed into your reply but I can't even get that far 🤦♂️ You couldn't argue with anything I said even if you tried your best. Facts are facts. Sorry chief.
"Poor"? Right. $15-30k range for a Gransport in decent condition with low-ish miles. Then $1500-3k every 6 months for insurance. $5k a year maintenance minimum. Mods? @@Foxtechconsultants Thank you for stating all that. I’ve owned my GranSport since 2007 and with all the maintenance and Formula Dynamics “goodies” Larini decats and Tubi exhaust…oh and a clutch change..nothing is cheap about these cars. Hope you’re well my friend…
Nice ride for sure. Quick glance looked like a Pontiac Sunfire. Obviously NOT. Anyway, maybe one day you'll find a car you like enough to keep a year or so but hey, as long as you're having fun. GREAT revue by you and not biased but based on what you said and could show us. Another good job that we thank you for. Sonny (CT)
