Isn't the Remnant in the Bible , refers to a group of people who remain loyal to the Heavenly Father even in a time of hardship. The concept of the Remnant is also used by prophets , such as Amos, Micah , Jeremiah & Zephaniah. ?
I never really understood Mr Veith. Is he saying you are only saved if you are a seventh day Adventist? I don't think any Church is the way of salvation, only Jesus is the way to salvation. Notice I said Church and not church.
Jesus raised up the SDA church via the Holy Sprit, and gave them the whole truth, especially the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation. Christ did this because not one Protestant church understood Scripture correctly. I am sure there will be many saved that were never an SDA, because they relied fully on the Holy Sprit to guide them into all truth. Rev 14 says the saved will keep all the commandments of God, especially His Sabbath (the only weekly day He made Holy) and they will have the faith OF Jesus. They will also have the testimony of Christ,, which is the spirit of prophecy gift. All of this can be read in Revelation. The true church will have the gift of prophecy.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6 Jesus is our Comforter(Advocate) John 14:18; 1John 2:1 John 14:21 The words Comforter and Advocate are an interpretation of the exact same Greek word [parakletos]. There is a huge difference between just reading the bible and studying the bible (like a Berean); and allowing the bible to interpret itself. Which is why when reading both the old and new testament, it's important to take the bible as it reads and not just listen to what finite man says to you. The Spirit of Christ (the only begotten Son of God) and the Spirit of His Father are Holy; and that is the only Holy Spirit we need.

The Sabbath is the 7th day. We still have the same weekly cycle of 7 days. Not complicated. The Jews still know which day is the 7th day, and it is Saturday - not Sunday, the day of the sun god.
There should be no denominations at all, and no so-called prophets after the NT times. It's Christianity. That's it. The SDA's aren't a 'church'. The Church is the Church. The Christian Church. The SDA's are a very recent denomination that popped up in the USA along with others such as the Mormons.
