Heritage Museum |Largo Florida |Easy food for fun day out 

Oh Ms. Amy, you crack me up. "Look a banana tree, when do you ever see a banana tree ... never" LOL! You are certainly new to Florida. In Florida banana trees are everywhere and in the back yard of most Hispanic homes. Same thing with mangoes (down in South Florida you can drive around and pick up mangoes off the ground absolutely free there are so many). Most Florida gardeners grow banana trees because our climate is perfection for it and if well taken care of are super easy to grow. Did you known that yearly a single banana tree can produce around 800 bananas each year? I have not purchased bananas in at least 30 years thanks to him. When you drive around Parish, Sarasota, St. Pete, Clearwater area, look along the back of homes and you will see loads of tropical fruit trees everywhere, bananas, mangoes, avocados, papaya and pineapples just to name a few. Glad you guys enjoyed your outing.

I lived in Largo 12 years, about 5 mins from the Heritage museum. Had many a visit there. That hanging plant is called a Stag horn fern...one that large has been around for a long time!

Good morning. When I lived in Orlando in the 90's, my grandparents wintered in Largo for Jan, Feb & Mar I would drive down every weekend and spent it with them. Unless it was pouring or less than 60°f, we were at the beach on the gulf. There was just a neighborhood park, that I loved going to. It was ao peaceful. I would love to just go sit at. If you want to see more about sponges, Tarpon Springs is where you want to visit. They did still dive for sponges there in the early 90's, not sure if they still do. It was great to see a then & now comparison. Have a tremendous Thursday and I will see ya tomorrow

When my daughter was little we would just get in the car and drive around and find things that we never knew was in our town now my daughter does that with her son it’s so fun to find things that you didn’t even know was there and most the time it was something really cool.

The big plant hanging from the tree is an Elkhorn fern. And they can be very expensive.

Hey amy, the plant hanging from the tree is called a staghorn fern. You can break one of those off and connect it to a tree and it will grow. They grow connected to trees

I know they have fort desoto over there in St Petersburg Wonder if that's where you're headed today and when the skyway bridge fell me and my cousin had just went over that bridge in a Greyhound bus going to my home from her home before it fell , I remember feeling so blessed and so lucky and so sad for the others❤❤ that was back when we were teenagers and the world was a safer place and we could travel in the summer on the Greyhound bus to see each other I would take it up to her place and we would crop tobacco and work in the fields and then she would come back to my place to spend time in the city❤

They're over $6 a bag but you need to try the dots pretzels - at Walmart and Ingles here. I heard sometimes Aldi. They are AMAZING - We love the garlic and Parmesan.

You are to hyper fixated on religion. I am a Christian as well as have family who have been through the seminary. You take religion to a level that is all consuming. When religion becomes that in your face all the time it becomes very disingenuous. I think you would greatly benefit from having some outside interests and hobbies away from the church and children.
