@@balto2455 This song probably took me a few weeks to perfect, especially as I was learning it by ear. I haven't played it in a long time though, so I will need to see if I can still play it and start practising again!
This is the earliest movie I can remember falling in love with as a very young child. I distinctly remember sobbing when my mom was able to get it on VHS for me. (I now own it on DVD :)). From 1:33 on wave after wave of goosebumps is just washing over me...brava!!
The tonal quality of your piano gives the peace an absolutely haunting quality. I have sheet to a more complex arrangement, but the simplicity and expression of your arrangement is what I’m going to use to learn this piece. I cannot express how chilling this arrangement and performance is. Every single hair on my head is on end and I’m covered in goosebumps listening to the entire thing Bravissima!!
I don't understand why anyone would unlike this, yours is a tad bit better than Susannwow's version, I like what you do from 1:24 and onward, no one has captivated that like you have, awesome and amazing job
@KingScar06 Thank you :) Sorry I don't have any sheet music, I looked all over the internet but gave up and just learnt it by ear instead. Took ages haha. It would be nice on the recorder though.
Hey everyone, I'm really sorry I haven't put up a tutorial yet. I tried the other day but I couldn't figure out how to position my camera so I could get all the notes into shot. Any ideas?
@Rileigh STILL intrested??? My friend: I have been searching for the left hand notes since 1997...H-LL YEAH IM INTRESTED :D :D :D and I´ve already checked it out of course, I could not wait. Thank you so much!!!
@fugeneral Still trying to figure out how to use the camera. I also have exams for the next 3 weeks so it won't be up for a while. Sorry! Please don't come at me with fire and pitchforks...
James Horner really went to town modulating this cue lol. It's a shame you couldn't also play the counterlines (the weakness of only having two hands :p). I loved the crescendo when it comes back to D, I think you did it as best as can be done transcribed for piano c: Good job! _Bagpipe Brony
Thank you for the nice comment! I haven't found any sheet music for this piece unfortunately. I had to learn it by ear too, so keep trying, you'll get there. :)
@Rileigh you could like, pin it up on your shirt or something, but that would be really shakey xD Maybe put the camera behind your shoulder? or just on the piano? I really like you to make a tutorial, I love this piece of art. it's amazing how you came up with it.good job
@Bandontherun18 Nope, I couldn't find any and I was searching for ages. I'm going to put up a tutorial at some point so hopefully that can help you with it.
@Rileigh Try having somebody to hold your cam for you, or try to show parts with one then other hand. That you'll be able to hold camera with other hand. Or maybe...try to lean it on something over your shoulder
@AngelPLM I've moved out of home for uni so haven't had access to a piano for a while. Hopefully I can do it in the holidays, which is 2 weeks away. :)
You have to make tutorital. I am member of Balto fan page, and i have searched for ages for Heritage of Wolf (the song you're playing). On internet there is no sheet or any tutorital, so if you make it, I'll put link on Balto fan sites, youll get like a bilion visits! I am waiting for it soon. And I have hope that finally after 5 years ill be able to play it home. PLS PLS TUTORIAL!
Hello! Your version for Horner's theme is by far the best I've found. I saw your comment responses to other youtubers, but I was wondering if you might consider filming this piece again with an aerial view-point above the keys, so that I can see what notes you're playing? Thanks for such a beautiful piece!
I'm sure this is far too late for it, but this was a favorite child hood movie of mine. I'd do most anything to obtain the sheet music. I know you said it was by ear :(
C'est vraiment très beau. J'adore ce passage au piano. Bravo !! PS : Investis dans un meilleur enregistrement ( si tu peux ) pour rendre l'écoute encore plus agréable
Still 39 vids! I bookmarked this and I come here every day hoping tutorial will pop up. You can sue me for stalking, but first make the bloody vid so I can play this in prison!
