That was an excellent day for you. I have several large quartz stones of sizes similar to the prize find. Living on top of a glacially formed coastline has many stone collecting possibilities.

I'd give my right arm to go on a dig like this... STUNNING finds. We brought our granddaughter to the Herkimer Mine a couple of years back mostly surface finds. But I would love to go back and check out other spots and actually spend time finding a pocket and dig out a beauty like one of these 😊👍

That was such a shame to miss the live Bryan, you found some beauties as did others but that was a monster that was the last big one found. I have a small cloudy one that was a gift from our youngest son and I can hold it easily, that one I wouldn't even want on my lap lol. Matrix was very protective there, he is so lovely and I love watching him. Now I have to go as I missed the live as my phone needed charging which always happens at the wrong time.
